Historia
Master storyteller Eduardo Galeano was unique among his contemporaries (Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Mario Vargas Llosa among them) for his commitment to retelling our many histories, including the stories of those who were disenfranchised. A philosopher poet, his nonfiction is infused with such passion and imagination that it matches the intensity and the appeal of Latin America's very best fiction. This is a deeply considered collection of Galeano's final musings and stories on history, memory, humor, and tragedy.

A lifetime of experiences expressed through poetry
Revisado: 12-22-17
Where does Hunter of Stories rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Certainly one of the most touching books I've read and/or listened to in the last year
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
I was deeply touched not only by the amazing stories Eduardo Galeano composed, but by the incredible variety of subjects and emotions that his poetry expresses.
Which character – as performed by Jordi Caballero – was your favorite?
The main character that moves the narrative forward in "Hunter of Stories" is the author himself. An observer of life. Thus, even though there are countless characters in the book, his is my favorite.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I think it's better absorbed "one sip at a time".
Any additional comments?
Thank you.
