Story good, but narrator voice hurt my ears....
Revisado: 02-20-25
Plot seemed good, but narrators voice was too sing-songy and high pitched for me. Became unbearable to listen to.

Historia
Hollows Bend, New Hampshire, is a picture-perfect New England town where weekend tourists flock to see fall leaves and eat breakfast at the Stairway Diner. The crime rate—zero—is a point of pride for Sheriff Ellie Pritchett. The day the stranger shows up is when the trouble starts. The sheriff and her deputy investigate the mysterious teenage girl. None of the locals can place her. She can’t—or won’t—answer any questions. She won’t even tell them her name.

Terrific narrator
Revisado: 10-29-21
Terrific story line - of course. Educational. I never knew there was an agency that monitors Judges.! The collaboration and often lack of collaboration, between law enforcement agencies was very realistic --It a dignified and respectful representation of people that work in those entities. No I'm not a cop or a lawyer and, no family members that are either. I just appreciate a fair picture of our society's woes.
