The narrator is horrible! And Jackie should have been fired ages ago. The book itself is good but between Jackie and the narrator being unsuitable for the characters espically Elieen it was hard to enjoy the book.

Great Series

This series is one of my favorites. It’s so fun and the narration is awesome. I really would love another book but I reached out to E.J. Copper man who says that the publisher doesn’t want to publish more of these. Considering how popular this series is and how good the reviews are I wish they’d reconsider.

Irritating main character and inconsistencies

Where do I even begin? All the other people who said the narration was inconsistent and terrible are spot on. I literally almost can’t tell the difference between any of the characters voices and sometimes I have to stop and think about it and get confused because I thought it was a girl talking when it was supposed to be a boy. The story itself it’s completely Inconsistent with the previous books. Mine are spoiler for a continually example, Nyla says that her husband had been killed with a wrench but he had been killed with the backside of a hammer. Everything is complete and utter garbage. The narration and the story. There are times where she doesn’t even mention her husband. I wasted my credits on this and I wish I hadn’t!

Not As Good As Book 1

I read some negative reviews and gave this book a chance anyway. I have to agree, this one was not as good as the first. The narrator dropped the ball. I could not tell when she was doing a male or female voice. It was basically the same voice for everyone, and a little confusing. The book itself was all over the place, with the villain was anticlimactic and predictable. It was like the writer thought I will make the first book free and good and then just do whatever with the other two? It was good despite the narration, then it wasn't. Especially the final quarter of the book. If you did not need to know what happened next after the first book, then just skip this one.
