Great part 2 to the first book

Punk’s story continues and let’s you get deeper into the minds and emotions of fighter pilots at garrison and at war. A deep view into the life of Navy officers and enlisted. F14 technical talk is abound and great for us that fly DCS and watch Mooch’s YouTube. Highly recommend this series especially since the third book is finished and available now.

Good story with good characters and fun interactions based on Mr. Carrols experience’s as a RIO. Great technical and cultural references to the Navy and Aviation.

Solid Haunted House Book - and that's rare!

Good horror somewhat dragged out

This is a good haunted house story. I am very disappointed with the racist portrayal and voicing of Odessa as an ignorant sounding servant woman. It really feels like a caricature of an African American slave. This story takes place in the late 80s or 90s so there really is no excuse. The overall story take way to long to get started and ends up feeling rushed at the end. Sure it’s scary but there are better books to read that don’t use stereotypes as a plot device.

Good story, good sci-fi and psychological thrills

The story was great, I can’t agree with the ending. It’s a very 1980s “buttoned up” ending, but it will leave you satisfied. There isn’t any horror or aliens if that’s what you’re looking for. This is more a psychological and sci-fi thriller story about the mental struggles of people stuck 100meters below the surface of the ocean and how they cope with their discovery down there.

Great audio but

I love the audio, but the way it’s split up into 1-2 minute pieces is kind of irritating to keep track of. And the annoying music that plays all the time makes this feel like a cheap self help book. Just cut the dramatics and read the book. Great book though. Would recommend
