Historia
Claire Kehoe is at a loss. At forty years old, she’s a widow, an empty nester, and a struggling artist whose passion fizzled with her marriage. Her husband’s turn into abusive alcoholism ensured that Claire lost him well before he died, leaving her heart fractured and guarded. Committed to starting fresh, Claire becomes nanny to the young son of wealthy Banks Sexton. But it’s his older son, Smith, who proves to be more than Claire bargained for.

Narration is awful
Revisado: 11-15-23
Voice inflection for the male voices is robotic and very forced and unnatural!!! Sweet story

Historia
Sometimes, people are so damaged, they can’t find their way out of the storm to embrace love. Rachel and Porter must decide if what they have is worth fighting for and if they are willing to trust in love - and each other. When you can’t completely trust your heart, sometimes it’s just as simple as letting go enough to just say you will.

Mispronunciation!!!
Revisado: 09-23-22
This book had potential, but the male narrator clearly can't read. it drove me crazy that he constantly said woman vs. women. For instance he stated, "lots of woman" instead of " lots of women", this was a recurring theme multiple times!!!! I stopped listening halfway through!!!!!
