This was an awesome series until Smoke. I felll in love with the people, the story, the series. It was Epic. i would have continued my alternative life had it not been for the female narrator you chose. I wanted rip my ears from my head to make it stop. Pease, Please Please- re-record. i didn''t want it to end, bu i just can't finish

Never knew these people existed until this read. Very emotional and heartbreaking. The narrator was Perfect for this story. Very Credit Worthy.

Well Written and Performed!

This was a very easy book to get into and held my attention throughout. The story itself is nothing new however I really enjoyed this play on racism and bigotry. I especially enjoyed the character development and overall pace of the story. I didn't purchase the other books in this series not narrated by Julia Whelan because of the reviews and I don't like being misled. I'm am anxiously awaiting book three and hope it comes out very soon.

All the Right Stuff!!!

I've been looking for a new series to sink my teeth in and so happy to find this Gem. Book 1 has everything I need to transport me to another place and time. Action, Mystery, Love, War. It was well written and narrated with plenty of plot to build on. On to Book 2.

This book locked me in immediately and held me till the very end. The only negative is having to wait until 2020 for the sequel. I really enjoyed the narrator.

A Pleasant Surprise

I had no expectations when i downloaded this book but was quickly taken in by the narrators performance of well written stories. Each was unique and solid. Sort of a Twilight Zone Appeal🍷

Didn't See That Coming

I really liked this book, but the ending took it to the next level. The main character was truly a masterpiece but each character was very interesting and played important parts. The story moved at a good pace and elevated to a WTF ending. Definitely worth the time and credit.

A Walk on the Dark Side

Wow, that was certainly different, but it worked for me. A Very Dark and Twisted Tale with just enough good to keep you rooting for the main character. It was good read throughout with an unpredictable yet satisfying end. I especially love long books that keep me engaged.

Credit Worthy Read!

I enjoyed Book One so much and anxiously awaited book Two. Great characters with interesting, often hilarious personalities. The plot was well spun, exciting and will have you screaming No F-ing Way at times! Delivered flawlessly via exceptional narration. I don't get why some didn't like it but I'm very happy that Book Two is here and can't wait to see what happens next. Hopefully there will be even more to come.
