Historia
The enemy is Other. The enemy is us. They’re down here, they’re up there, they’re nowhere. They want the Earth, they want us to have it. They came to wipe us out, they came to save us. But beneath these riddles lies one truth: Cassie has been betrayed. So has Ringer. Zombie. Nugget. And all 7.5 billion people who used to live on our planet. Betrayed first by the Others, and now by ourselves. In these last days, Earth’s remaining survivors will need to decide what’s more important: saving themselves...or saving what makes us human.

I was surprised to find I did not like this one. it had so much promise but couldn't deliver in the end. the story was bland and predictable and the performance was not much better.

Outstanding!
Revisado: 01-14-15
Loved this book! its rare that a sequel can match the first book but Golden Son shines all on its own! This story had everything. Action, intrigue, back stabbing, friendships made and broken, mystery, great dialogue, and a cliffhanger that makes me crave the final book! I can't stop raving about this author or his work!

Historia
Libby Day was seven when her mother and two sisters were murdered in "The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas". As her family lay dying, little Libby fled their tiny farmhouse into the freezing January snow. She lost some fingers and toes, but she survived, and famously testified that her 15-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, Ben sits in prison, and troubled Libby lives off the dregs of a trust created by well-wishers who've long forgotten her.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
i could not stop listening to this! I was enthralled within minutes of listening.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The book gave me chills. The way Flynn writes her characters are so real. And i like how the ending isnt all happily ever after.
Any additional comments?

I was not a fan of the character Mallory but i enjoyed the story overall
What does James Marsters bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He was amazing as the narrator! I would listen to anything that he did! The subtle changes he made in his voice for each character were outstanding!
