I listened to this on the way to and from work each day. I couldn't fully get into the story because I disliked the narrator's style so much. When voicing characters, she was ok, but when narrating straight text, she had a flat, unpleasant delivery.

Eleanor Oliphant is quirky. One might say she's socially stunted and inept. She's blunt and awkward, but we grow to care for and about her and her story. I listened to this on my way to and from work every day. I missed Eleanor on weekends when I didn't have a long drive. It's not an easy story, but it is worth it. You will root for Eleanor and for a happy ending!

Rules of Civility by Amor Towles (A Gentleman in Moscow) is my new favorite author! I listened to both books via Audible and thoroughly enjoyed them. I listen on my way to and from work and sometimes sat in the driveway until I could tear myself away. The narrator for Rules of Civility was extraordinary--and the story is rich and thought-provoking. I highly recommend both titles, and Mr. Towles needs to wrie faster!
