Historia
It’s 2006. After a string of rejections from men who tell her they could never, ever, ever see her “that way,” awkward third-grade teacher Micaela Blei signs up for a mysterious course called “The Divine Feminine,” and feels like she might have found the key to the perfect life. Turns out if you’re an A student, you can get an A in anything–including men. Pretty soon she’s learning to "conjure" her desires with vision boards, flirtations, and even a daring jumbotron viewing party for her, ahem ... "divine center."

Liberating!
Revisado: 01-04-25
Loved everything about this book. My struggle to control my mother’s life has exhausted me for too long. Her most recent lack of desire to fight for her life with a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer threw me into over drive to help her live. The fact is she doesn’t want to. Mel your book came at the perfect time to reiterate the work I have been doing to make me the best I can be. Thank you for getting it on paper and passing it along.

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

Historia
What does it take to be secure in our sense of belonging and self-worth? We may hustle to attain this security through achievements, meeting expectations, or repeating affirmations to ourselves - but Dr. Brené Brown's research has shown there is ultimately one obstacle to our sense of worthiness. “Shame is the barrier,” she teaches, “and building shame resilience is how we overcome it.”

Needed more than a Ted talk
Revisado: 11-05-21
I was really looking forward to learning about worthiness. I was disappointed to find out that this book was just Ted talks and YouTube clips I’ve heard before. The info is good but I already heard it all for free on the internet. I would not have wasted a credit for this if I’d Known.
I think her work is amazing and life changing, however this book was a repeat when I was looking for deeper info.
