I have enjoyed all the Dexter books by Jeff Lindsay. this one....not so much. Too much narrative and
not nearly enough action. Too much mamby pamby thoughts from Dexter. Not like him at all. I would save my credit if I were you.

I highly recommend this book and this author. I hope to see more from him. The book has a good pace, some funny retorts, and just enough "heat" dont be afraid to give it a listen.

This is the 3rd in her series and it is true to form! unbelievably compelling. The ending was a surprise, the characters colorful and believable. Lynda is batting a thousand. Listen to this series, you will not be disappointed. Rodska is amazing in his dialects and accents. Absolutely superb!

Absolutely wonderful! the narrator is flawless and his characters are clearly audibly defined. I came to care for all of them. I have listend all the way thru to number 3 in this series and have the rest on my list! A wonderful listen and I highly recommend this author as well as this book. Give it a shot, you wont regret it if you are truly a mystery/thriller fan.

I have started the Trial and Retribution series, I enjoyed number one very juch. I have to say, I was engrossed throughout this one as well. I love the narrator! this is worth a listen for you mystery/thriller fans. The characters are colorful and the ending is always a surprise. La Plantes books are never boring in my opinion. Very very good read (listen)

As an avid mystery/thriller listener, I found this book exceptional. It has all the right formulas, action, suspense, murder, intrigue, sex, comedy, and, an excellent plot. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this listen!

Redundancy

I agree that there was some redundancy, however, the story still remains quite good. This book series is amazing and enthralling despite the repetition. I am looking forward to book 3, and hope it comes out soon. Being an avid Koontz fan, no matter what he writes, his books are pure genious. Dont give up, listen to this one too. It saddens me that there are only 3.
