Parts are really good

I too rolled my eyes quite a bit during this book. It is stated several times that it takes a big man to admit when he is wrong. No it takes a person willing to take responsibility for their actions to admit when they are wrong. Anyone in touch with reality knows no one is perfect including themselves.

The storyline over all is good but this book did not linger with me as it did others who wrote reviews. Bethann is really great character and made the book enjoyable. The way the author explained the characters points of view was insightful and interesting at times.

Really easy and relaxing

These are several mediations 15 minutes long one for am and one for pm. I found them to be easy to follow, fun and relaxing. This is now the main tool I use to meditate. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Goldie shares the wisdom she has gained

Goldie is wonderful. If you even kind of like her, you will love her book. She tells things as she saw it in her life and explains what she learned from the experience. I loved listening to her book and hope that others enjoy it as well.

I couldn't listen to anymore

I only got an hour and a half into this book. I can’t/won’t listen to a brother and sister falling in love and making out. I consider myself to be really open minded but that to me is just not something I want to hear about in detail. I was really looking forward to this book but I couldn’t get past that part. I also didn’t like the way he told the story for the part I listened to it wasn’t about him at all but his family.

It has potential

This book was recommended to me. This book was ok, and overall it has potential. The parts that really bothered me were how the women are treated by the men. I suppose in that era that was acceptable. I almost shut the book off several times. I wanted to give it a chance but I am not a fan of rape and overall violence that this book has. If you can over look that then I think you would enjoy the book. To me love stories shouldn’t be where the woman is degraded and I don’t know why there are so many so called love stories that have that in them. Do us women want that in our relationships or in our fantasies? I don’t think so.

The best book I have read in a while

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It made my long commute to work not only enjoyable but I found myself looking forward to it. The characters were interesting and I really wish I could have gotten to know Sarah and Emily better. Some parts were a little predictable but overall I couldn’t wait to hear what happens next. You know it’s a good book when you find yourself dreaming about the characters. I am very much looking forward to the next installment in this series.
