A Tapestry of Wonders

This is the first poetry book I’ve ever purchased. I have seen quotes on IG which have touched me. So I decided to dive in. I am hooked now.

Historia
Drawing on a wealth of untapped archival materials and the reports of generations of family members - mayors, judges, scholars, diplomats, and journalists - The Hundred Years' War on Palestine upends accepted interpretations of the conflict, which tend, at best, to describe a tragic clash between two peoples with claims to the same territory. Instead, Khalidi traces a hundred years of colonial war on the Palestinians, waged first by the Zionist movement and then Israel, but backed by Britain and the United States, the great powers of the age.

A STORY THAT IS WORTH REPEATING
Revisado: 05-29-24
I wanted to learn about the story behind the tragic genocide unfolding before our eyes. I wanted to read about it from a source that is not propaganda. I found this to be a great resource of historical information. The story is told in a way that is easy to digest. Part of the History is the author’s personal family story. It’s a book worth having in one’s personal library as a reference to return to over time, while the story of Palestine continuously becomes blurred by misinformation.
