Very thin plot
Revisado: 10-06-23
The characters are fetching as usual, but there is a very thin, plot line to follow.

Very hard to listen to
Revisado: 09-23-23
Aside from the fact that much of the story is obliterated because of mushy accents of the British, the story had a lot of drivel and not much plot. It could’ve been a one hour performance.

A Tour without pictures
Revisado: 08-29-23
He would be a great tour guide but this is like a tour without visuals. The accompanying PDF has about one small black and white photo per chapter so it is very hard to visualize what he is actually describing.

No conclusion
Revisado: 09-14-22
This is the first book I have ever read or listen to, in this case for 8 1/2 hours, with no conclusion. Basically, the epilogue tells one plot item after another and that remained the same at the end as it was at the beginning. What was the purpose of this book?

Historia
At once profoundly personal and far-reaching, Exit Interview with My Grandmother serves as a meditation on the beginning of a young woman’s life and the series of questions that arise from examining love, loss, family, memory, and death. Moving between cities and centuries, Meyersohn probes her family's Jewish history and her grandparents' relationships in part to decipher her own young queer relationships, but also to examine how we ought to behave in the face of a world riddled with uncertainty and doubt.

Mildly interesting
Revisado: 09-17-20
This book, partly about her grandmother’s impending death, is also significantly about her about the author’s dissolving lesbian relationship. There was nothing spectacular that I could tell that she learned from her grandmother which seems sad.

An autobiography of the author
Revisado: 09-17-20
This book is well written and well narrated, a very pleasing listen, although it seems that the title is a little misleading in that the book is really an autobiography of the author in which princess Margaret plays a part

A paean to rationalization
Revisado: 08-31-20
The writing was great and the storyline intriguing but it is astonishing to see that much rationalization for behavior. It’s kind of a different twist on “the devil made me do it.” Here it is “God made me do it.”

Short is great!
Revisado: 09-26-18
I love these short mysteries. They are well written with appealing lead characters. Too many mysteries are so long I just feel like I’m wading through to the end. These are perfect! A good find! I’m glad there are more.
