The Dopamine Switch is a powerful guide to help break free from so much digital engagement and to understand how too much can be very detrimental to your overall health. For me social media scrolling started out to be relaxing, but this book explains the science behind scrolling and how it can make a person feel when overdone. I especially like the daily dopamine reset strategy to rebuild natural focus and get rid of brain fog and general dissatifaction. This is an important listen to understand how dopamine affects us good and bad, as well as how to make it work for our body instead of against it.

Herbal Healing is an easy and practical guide for figuring out how to use herbs for your everyday health and wellness. I found the easy to follow calming tea recipes especially helpful. We can all use more of that! I also really like the simple herbal salve recipe for minor cuts and scrapes. I enjoyed listening and learning to use the healing power of nature in a way I haven't done much before. This is a good guide for everyone - beginner or not.

The Power of AI for Business Leaders is an easy listening guide with clear steps to integrate AI into whatever business that pertains to you. One thing I thought was incredible is the predictive analysis it can do to forecast consumer's wants/needs to help you stay ahead of the market. Summers also talks about AI risk assessment that can help you steer clear of weak spots before you get into them. This is a great guide for any leader interested in sustainable growth as well as optimizing how you do business.

From Pain to Empowerment is a powerful and important guide for any teen dealing with any kind of toxic relationship. I actually think this would be beneficial to every teen or young adult. Knowing the warning signs, understanding that not everyone comes into a relationship with the same intent and purpose that we, ourselves, do would be helpful as we figure out more complex relationships. This book doesn't necesarily have to be for romantic relationships. Friendships and family relationships can also fall into this category. I appreciate the frankness in explaining what is healthy and what is not and how to move forward from these relationships. The narrator is easy to listen to and very upbeat.

5 in 1 bundle Learn ABC and Numbers is a great audiobook for young kids just starting to learn their letters and numbers. The pace of each book is great for young kids and just repetitious enough to help them learn. I also liked that each one had a different narrator (maybe that's an adult thing). They were all upbeat and encouraging. This with the fun sounds really helps to keep kids engaged in what they're hearing. Ideal for young kids learning or reinforcing their ABCs and numbers.

Gut Health for Beginners is a great listen to start the understanding of how to take care of your gut health in a simple way that is easy to understand as welll as implement into your daily life. One of the things I didn't know was how fermented foods, like yogurt can naturally boost energy without relying on caffeine. The seven day gut meal plan gives a real way to start eating better right away. Appreciate that!

As a small business owner, I found "How Women Lead" to be very helpful. The author's concise way of giving advice that is practical and actionable I found to be very empowering. I had never heard of the S.H.E. L.E.A.D.S. framework before and it gave me a lot to think about in terms of the type of person I am in my business and how I want to run it. Not all of the steps pertain to me at this moment, but I see how useful they might be in the future. I especially like the advocating for yourself and others -standing up for yourself and also in support of other women is so important. This audiobook is for anyone looking to further their leadership thinking, whether it's in business or any aspect of life.

"Retirement Looks Good on Me" by Claudia Loren is a fun and empowering guide for women 50+ that redefines what I've always worried retirement would be like. Her upbeat attitude helps change the narrative that retirement is the end, instead, retirement can be the beginning of freedom, happiness and personal growth! I was smiling listening to the part where she asks the listener questions to help us remember things we may have forgotten about ourselves; what did I used to enjoy-even if I haven't done it in a while, what have I always wanted to try, etc. I'm not quite to retirement yet, but this has already got me thinking very positively about that upcoming part of my life. Thank you!

"The Posture Pandemic" by Nick Swettenham gives a straight forward approach to dealing with poor posture that many deal with now especially with more phone, computer, and overall screen time that is backed by science. The book uses a three part process in stretching, strenghtening, and mobility exercises. There is a personalized tool set to assess postural imbalances to help us target ways to make adjustments. I especially like the posture friendly workouts that are easy to incorporate into my everyday. The emphasis on habits that are sustainable, as opposed to just a quick fix, make this something I can see myself doing going forward. Highly recommend!
