I'm more organized!
Revisado: 09-25-12
I started implementing some suggestions from the book and I noticed immediate results. My desk is cleaner, my task list is at my finger tips, my emails are organized, and consequently I think clearer. I've always been able to take advantage of small time segments, but this book has helped me sort it out. Thanks to my friend for the recommendation!

Historia
The Real Purpose of Parenting is a series of stories and life lessons from the world of a therapist, known as The Parent Coach. Very well-intentioned, well meaning parents are at the point of crisis with their kids because their own best parenting efforts are NOT producing the children they want them to be. And there, according to Dr. Phil Dembo, lies the problem. Dr. Dembo shows simple family “turn around” strategies that reframe the real purpose of parenting and gives each family, and child, their own salvation.

Good listen for parents

Great to get another perspective. Stick with the book - once he got into the examples in chapter 6 it started coming together better for me. We started writing our family constitution and my 4 and 5 year old are really enjoying it. I've always valued being up front with expectations and consequences so this book helped me recharge.

Historia
Phil Town is a very wealthy man, but he wasn’t always. In fact, he was living on a salary of $4,000 a year when some well-timed advice launched him down a highway of investing self-education that revealed what the true “rules” are and how to make them work in one’s favor. Chief among them, of course, is Rule #1: “Don’t lose money.” In this updated edition to the #1 national bestseller, you’ll learn more of Phil’s fresh, think-outside-the-box rules.

Any additional comments?
I need to start implementing the rule. It was a great listen and it made more sense to me and how I've viewed the stock market. I will return to it when I need some empowerment! I did, however, purchase this book after listening to it. There is so much I want to refer to and note! The graphs also make more sense :) but I'm happy I purchased it on audible first, as now I can go straight to what I need in the book.
