Fact-based Dive into Global Warming

This is a great listen who love numbers and data. It is NOT anecdotal, it is a big picture view of the very serious global environmental challenges we have and provides realistic suggestions on what we can due to make a difference. Please listen to this book if you care about what will be the biggest catastrophe the world has ever experienced unless we change our behavior.

If you need a laugh, go for it. We all need a laugh more than ever these days. Yes, he’s a dim wit dirtbag who just happens just smart enough to get paid a lot a money for these worthless skills. OK, enough of that...back to Great Lectures Courses before I give up hope on humanity.

Great In-depth tech and legal review

This is a real eye-opener! I previously knew the basic story of Edward Snowden, but this really filled it into a complete (yet still unfinished) story. It is also very well performed. It is only one side of the story and would really like to hear responses from those who were in positions of authority in the USA government during these events.

Meticulously researched and Comprehensive Book

This was a excellent listen for those the want a deep dive into this epidemic. It is nicely divided into sections on user, dealers, manufacturers, law enforcement, medical and social professionals. So there is something for everyone and pretty good scientific explanations. Bottom line: today’s dope ain’t your Grandpa’s weed from his hippie days. There is some scary and very, very dangerous shit out there. We can only take every approach possible to deal with this huge challenge. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to see the bigger picture.

This book is too religious for my taste.

I am open-minded and actually quite interested in religious history, but this was preaching way too much to be an unbiased view of history. I had to stop and delete it after two chapters. It basically says that unless you live in the West (which he did not really define...it seems very USA-centric) and believe in Jewish-Christian Gods then you're an idiot. Message heard. I guess I am an idiot. Thanks for your opinion and good bye.
p.s. This and most book should be read by a professional voice....which this author is not.

The Ultimate Dysfunctional Family Story

Hard to believe you can have one family member be so abusive to another in the absence of alcohol, drugs, or sex abuse. Nonetheless, this book achieved this and the heroine and author of the story succeed in giving one hope in the resilience of the human spirit. Excellent let read and thoroughly worth a listen.

This Story Gives Life to Black Lives Matter

Excellent performance of a very timely story. This is about how police violence affects the whole community and it's a story that all Americans should know. We can't take the rule of law and justice for granted; we must all be continue to make these work for all people in the USA if we are to prosper as a nation.

Where are humans going?

This book is a logical extension of Harari's previous book, so if you liked that than you will likely also like this one. The patterns and sometimes absurdity of human behavior evolution is dissected and left me wondering if we are on a path that is Pre-ordained or can we still control our own destiny as a species? Only criticism is that I thought this book was a bit more rambling than the last one; as I listened, sometimes I would space out for a few minutes and once I regained my focus it didn't really seem like I missed anything. All-in-all, a good listen.

A childish approach to a serious topic

What would have made Get Well Soon better?

This book is a less-than-serious description of a serious times in the history of humanity. It is generally lacking in serious scholarship with neither referenced investigations nor medically adequate descriptions of the diseases that are the topic of the book. In summary, too whimsical for me and not enough quality science to warrant finishing the book.
