Care only about yourself
Revisado: 04-17-24
Ok and does have a good advice, but has a lack of cohesion between chapters and sound more like an HBR, which is a collection of different articles on a similar subject. You are constantly advised to forget about what others think. Just do what pleases you and you will be pleased. It is OK if your inner voice is that of an angel but what if it is not?

Nice Explanation of Why
Revisado: 03-16-19
The book explains why scrum should be used. The book reaches inspirational category, and it is easy to listen. The negative is that many examples are bloated. The book heavily relies on author(s) account of events and personal experiences. Reused theories from a psychology textbook are more boring than convincing.

A fun listen even for those who took advanced classes. Paints a big picture of Science, which facilitates creative thinking from a bird's eye perspective. A little outdated, but that could just add flavor.

Historia
Stephen R. Covey's book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, has been a top seller for the simple reason that it ignores trends and pop psychology for proven principles of fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity. Celebrating its 15th year of helping people solve personal and professional problems, this special anniversary edition includes a new foreword and afterword written by Covey that explore whether the 7 Habits are still relevant and answer some of the most common questions he has received over the past 15 years.

We use DNA routinely - to cure diseases, solve crimes, and reunite families. Yet we've known about it for only 60 years. And what we're continuing to learn about it every day has the potential to transform our health, our nutrition, our society, and our future. But what, exactly is DNA, the self-replicating material present in nearly all living organisms?

Boring.
Revisado: 10-10-15
Lectures are nothing more than a popular overview of genetics. We've heard it all on the radio and have seen it on the Web. There is a lack of specific real-life examples and details. Author withholds his personal opinion/experience. Instead, we get a standard "science is great; why worry about anything else" attitude.
In five minutes, anyone can get the same knowledge from Wikipedia, or elsewhere online, while it takes hours to get through the book. Other Biology lectures here are much better and have more info about genetics and biology overall.

THINK Psychology covers the essentials every introductory psychology student should know. The chapters are briefer than a standard introductory text¿allowing for a lower cost to students and using less printed paper. Unlike other brief texts, THINK Psychology includes 18 chapters of content¿giving instructors the flexibility to choose what they want to cover without the worry that skipping several chapters will mean leaving out hundreds of pages of content.

Historia
Although we rely on physicians, calling on them at birth and death and every medical event in between, rarely do we consider the personal challenges faced by doctors-to-be. In 2005 author Jacqueline Marino and photojournalist Tim Harrison had the unprecedented opportunity to chronicle the experience of three students as they learned to become doctors at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

Not very informative., and not very dramatic.
Revisado: 04-13-15
The book has too much prropoganda,. The author constantly worries about what shoes and skirts students wear.
If you want to be a medical student, go talk to a few recent grads. They will tell you more in five minutes, than this book does in five hours. And most importantly--get a job in a hospital and see if it is fit you.
The value of this book is comparable to a popular TV show, except that TV is funny.
Narration is fine, but I wish it sounded a little more formal. However, I might be wrong, and the narrator followed the genre perfectly.
