What are positive affirmations? An affirmation is anything that you think or say. This means that even your negative thoughts and words are affirmations. People have become used to thinking negatively, thus resulting in negative experiences and situations. It is important to retrain the mind to think only of good and positive things, so that only positive would also come out of the mouth. This is how you will change your life.

Not specifically ADHD oriented
Revisado: 12-07-22
Narrator good, but not specifically oriented to ADHD. Affirmations were good, effective, but could apply to anyone in the general public.
Was not what I was expecting. ok, but disappointed. Title is misleading.

Good Intro into Poly
Revisado: 06-26-21
It was shorter than I realized it was going to be. I feel the info is good and spot on, and I would have appreciated the book to go deeper.
Well read and written. The person whom read, author?, was easy to listen to vs too many others whom read and its painful.

Freedom to be you, from hiding, from the mask.
Revisado: 05-04-21
Oh yes, it's a bold title, and a bold read. Well read, and good mix of content and examples.
End of the day, you don't need to embrace one of these lifestyles. You will still benefit from the ideas, the tools, and the letting go of limiting beliefs to improve your current relationships.

Historia
Man’s Search for Meaning is the chilling yet inspirational story of Viktor Frankl’s struggle to hold on to hope during the unspeakable horrors of his years as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, including Auschwitz, while his parents, brother, and pregnant wife perished. Based on his own experience and the experiences of those he treated in his practice, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering, but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

Not what I expected, found what I needed.
Revisado: 12-28-20
I was NOT expecting such detailed descriptions of the WWll concentration camps.
I did not expect the Therapy theory discussion.
Ultimately, he brought it together well.
Some people may not like the narrator as he can be a bit monotone at times. However, I found to ultimately tie in well with the content and lessons.
Will you like this book? Depends on what you are "searching for" as you read it. It was worth my time.

Why are you reading this review?
Revisado: 08-06-20
It's so simple and obvious that it's also brilliant. Simon is inviting us to be conscious, self aware, and to know our reason for doing anything, everything, but especially what our purpose is for showing up at work everyday whether we are self employed or work for a company.
I invited my employees to develop a "Why" for our team. I have further invited them to start applying it to everything we do or don't do.
What's your why? Highly recommend this book, and the author.
