Historia
Asperger's Syndrome, or high-functioning autism, is a form of autism that falls on the autism spectrum. Asperger's Syndrome can be seen in adults and in children if you know what to look for. Many people who can be described as hypersensitive, odd or eccentric have Asperger's Syndrome which has gone undiagnosed. Some of the greatest comedians, singers, actors and inventors have Asperger's syndrome. They specialize in what they are good at, and they can become highly successful in doing so.

I appreciated not having to wade through a bunch of random stuff to get to the meat of what we’re dealing with.

Historia
A biblical perspective on technology goes far deeper than how tools are used, and involves much more than the electronics that pervade today's world. Technology is, in fact, a foundational part of what it means to be human—and it extends back to the very beginning of Creation. Technology was included in what God declared "good." But like all things impacted by the fall, it has immense power to rewire us for good or bad. From the Garden to the City is back, moving beyond moralism in order to examine the very nature of technology as essentially human and totally transformative.

Necessary and balanced
Revisado: 04-02-24
In a polarized world where we are tempted to ditch technology or worship it, this book presents a Godly and balanced perspective that will get you asking the important questions.
It faces the real and present issues we might not even be aware of.

Historia
Beginning from Genesis and working all the way through the story line of the Bible, Worthy demonstrates the significant and yes, even surprising, ways that God has used women to accomplish his kingdom goals. Like men, they are created in his image, and their lives reflect and declare his worth. Worthy will enable and encourage both men and women to embrace this true and lofty vision of God’s creation, plan, and their value in his eyes.

Love the male narrator. The female narrator was great as well.

Historia
We tend to believe either God must not be loving or must not be actively involved. Yet throughout history, believers and nonbelievers alike have pressed forward to respond to this great challenge at the core of all life. From Lenin, to Mao and Hitler, to Tolstoy, Gandhi, and MLK Jr., adjunct professor of biblical studies Jered Gritters details how some of the worst evil has not prevented the greatest solution the world has ever seen from having its impact.

Worthy time spent.
Revisado: 01-14-23
When I started this book, I had no idea my life would present so many apt situations to apply the wisdom and expert logic presented here.
The history and logic included make this book both informed and clear.
I have personally benefited from it much and wish I had read it sooner.
Gritters has a clear understanding of both human nature and God’s heart, a rare combination. This book presents both perspectives in a truly relevant way.
If you are human and experience suffering from the effects of evil, you would benefit from reading it.

Historia
Discovered in the attic in which she spent the last years of her life, Anne Frank’s remarkable diary has since become a world classic - a powerful reminder of the horrors of war and an eloquent testament to the human spirit. In 1942, with Nazis occupying Holland, a 13-year-old Jewish girl and her family fled their home in Amsterdam and went into hiding. For the next two years, until their whereabouts were betrayed to the Gestapo, they and another family lived cloistered in the “Secret Annex” of an old office building.

Revisado: 10-13-21
Witty, enjoyable, heart warming, tragic and insightful.
Anne had an incredible power of introspection that would serve any young person in today’s world, helping them to sort their emotions, make sense of their chaotic world and understand the importance of relationships for sanity.
