so there are two narrator's though we hear the man significantly more and so therefore know more about the killer than we learn about the protagonist. We know so little about her that her partner was my favorite character in the book.

this was a joy to have listened to. The narrator was able to do several voices that he changed to seamlessly. The story moved along at a great pace that matches with the movie. There was enough tension from the start and plenty of lull moments where the action was still going on in the background and you could feel that. I could audibly hear throat sounds throughout the performance which I have never heard before. I found this quite distracting as Rachel Evans would pause in the middle of a sentence to catch her breath or swallow often. Her voice work was fine and never confused me on what character was speaking and I don't remember any mispronouncation within. The story held my attention and was quite different from other stories I have read in this genre because of 'pilots' removing thier hearts in order to fly. It sounds like this world had been experimenting with humans for awhile and the whole universe sounded fascinating. I have enjoyed all I have read from this author (Dreamsnake is still an all time favorite) however I am unsure about seeking out the narrator because of how much I noticed the gulping...I enjoyed her narration other than that.
