I have loved this story since the first episode of the anime. listening to Bryce and Cherami read it, with the depth and passion that it demands, has the same effect as watching it unfold for the first time. Absolutely amazing performance; I felt the emotion intended of every single word. Thank you for that.

My only thought for an improvement was that Bryce would voice the male characters, Cherami the female, and continue to share the chapters as they have been. Not that either didn't do justice to the characters but that would provide another level of depth, almost like an audio play.

Listening to this story being told took me back to my childhood, albeit with zombies. I felt like my father was inflecting his voice like he used while I was tucked away in bed. I was completely enthralled in the story; my imagination was in overdrive.
I listened to this mostly at night while driving around south Texas. There were a couple occasions where, after I paused the track, I had to get out of my truck. I found myself having an ominous sense of foreboding as if just maybe something else was out there. I mean it when I say it was enthralling.

Absorbing and fulfilling

Enjoyable.

Most of the individual stories were completely enthralling. I found a couple of the stories to be slightly comical in the end. I was occasionally captivated by the way the author used thorough description to thrill. It worked wonders.

Vocals were nearly perfect. The occasional gravel and drawl in the narrator's voice would cause a word to be nearly inaudible.

Ultimately, this audiobook was worth every minute of time spent.

Fantastic telling of a great story

I have enjoyed this story in all its fashions now. This was by far my favorite medium for it. Fantastic performance of the story. The vocal inflection brought it to life. He made it easy to hear the different characters interact and the intended emotion conveyed from moment to moment was clear.
