Horror/Comedy Genius

I love a good horror novel, but the humor adds a special touch that makes the Trilogy of stories even better. You follow the same lead characters thru an insane self-imposed quest. Jeff Strand entertains while giving you a rich descriptive experience. Wow, what an awesome werewolf adventure.

Selfrightous and Preachy

What disappointed you about Quantum Night?
Usually I can get past the moral lecture from this author because I have listened to several of his books. But in this book which I was looking forward to he was over the top. The story itself had some good interesting points but really demonizing the US is unfair.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
The ending was fair and had somewhat of a predictable twist.
Did Scott Aiello do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Scott Aiello was the saving grace for this book.

Historia
We are accustomed to think of sociopaths as violent criminals, but in The Sociopath Next Door, Harvard psychologist Martha Stout reveals that a shocking 4 percent of ordinary people, one in 25, has an often undetected mental disorder, the chief symptom of which is that that person possesses no conscience. He or she has no ability whatsoever to feel shame, guilt, or remorse. One in 25 everyday Americans, therefore, is secretly a sociopath.

From Great to Preachy
Revisado: 03-05-11
The first 5 hours are great filled with lots of facts and great information from studies. The there is a switch where the author Martha Stout seems to add her own political beliefs about western society and all the stats and studies go out the window and it becomes almost a rant. I hate movies with political messesages as well.
