They ruined the ending...

Even though this story has the sound of a teen novel, I was enjoying it for the most part. But the last three or four chapters had me rolling my eyes so much it was making me dizzy. Yes there was a HEA but the ending ruined the story so this will be one I will Not be re-listening to it.

What a let down after the first book. Yes the story did have a HEA but that was about it. After the first book I was Really looking forward to this one promising a ménage relationship but it didn't happen till the very end, the majority of the story was talking about ménage and a lot of angst born of stupidity. This book did not give you the "feel good" feeling so unless you get this book on sale, you will feel ripped off.

I second the review that called this story "cheesy"

The first three quarters of the story the h is trying to get away from the H, and as soon as she does she regrets her actions and now wants him back. Very, very boring with a few explicit sex scenes thrown here and there. Not worth a credit but if you get it on sale like for $1.99 or less then maybe worth listening to.

Should've stopped at book two.

Roman is a cheater and Sally is a pushover. The hero cheats close to the beginning so for me the story sucked from there. I think the author should warn the readers/listeners before hand, I wouldn't choose a book where the H and the h are so lacking in character.

Way to go Simon!

For many reasons I liked this story but two stand out the most. First there was zero angst. I hate silly plot twists used to extend a story, this one is not like that and second, I feel Simon Prebble did an amazing job with the narration. Yes this book is worth the money and I will listen to it again one day.

Another one bites the dust.

Once again the story was going along pretty good, then the author decides to prolong the ending by turning the H into an insecure ass. "Oh my job is to dangerous for a relationship " type of bs. The story should have ended an hour and a half sooner, by ruining the ending it ruins the entire book for me, I won't be relistening to this one.

Story started out good...

I liked the story until about chapter 28 and then it took a bad turn. Not sure what the authors intentions are except to stretch out the story in a terrible way. Anyway the sudden secrets being kept by the heroin, the arrest of the H, and just the way the romance stalled until the last five minutes turned me off. The final chapters actually ruined the story for me, I won't be re-listening to this one 😕

The authors idea of romance certainly isn't the same as mine. Makes the heroine out to be needy and stupid and the Hero a womanizing jerk. Couldn't read past chapter seven...

Worst book in the series!

This heroine was the most disappointing in the entire series. If this was the first book I would never have continued. She is supposed to be an ER nurse yet she freezes at the first sign of trouble. Save your credit and money! Would not recommend this book to anyone.
