This story so far has been one of my favorites. funny, a little dark, action packed, amazing plot, and captivating characters. Let's not forget the narrator who brings them all to life in an amazing way. I have to say I never want this series to end, I actually listen to all previous books when a new one comes out just so I can hear it all over again.Hats off to the author for writing such an amazing and compelling story and for making a fantastic choice in the narrator.

great book.
Revisado: 11-16-24
it is a good book, I love the author and the narrator is one of my favorites. but the system he used in the his book is kinda confusing sometimes the numbers do not add up with others of the same or close to the same level especially when the MC is getting all kinds of bonuses from titles and stuff. but it's not to bad the story is still good and I can't wait for the next one.

This is an amazing story, and fantastic world he has built here. And as always Tood did a great job, on the other hand I (jokingly) waited the whole book for Todd to say " I'm gonna be a starbright man". Anyways give it a go, it is a great book, narrated by a great narrator.

pure magic, as always Travis did an outstanding job. Let's not forget the story; the book did drag out a bit but it's to be expected with the first one, other than that this was an amazing tale. I will be anxiously awaiting the next ones.

great book.
Revisado: 10-12-24
it is a good book, and the narrator was great. the MC comes off WAY to passive and sensitive. if you can get pass the MCs non stop passive outlook on every single aspect of his new world and his constant soft tone and worrying about every single person other than himself then you will find a good wholesome story.

Holy crap! So far this series is one of my favourites. I can not wait for the next ones to come out I can only hope it won't take a lifetime the cliffhanger sucked as it is going to be the only thing I think of until book 3. Amazing narration and fantastic story, with superb world building. I can't say it enough I love these books and can not wait for the next ones.

Different.
Revisado: 09-03-24
The book and Narrator was really good. I picked this up on a whim and was not disappointed it is a completely different take on cultivation and magic. The distopian and paramilitary corporate corruption is a fantastic idea and probably holds a lot of truth if cultivation and magic was real in in our world. It doesn't go political just corporate greed and control on the masses. I feel it's worth a try, but you have to give it a chance it does start out slow but half way threw you start to pick up on the narrative and the fast pace starts to make since it's a really really good perspective on how our government and corporations would handle everything if magic was real.
