Historia
In Invisible Doctrine, journalist George Monbiot and filmmaker Peter Hutchison shatter this myth. They show how a fringe philosophy in the 1930s—championing competition as the defining feature of humankind—was systematically hijacked by a group of wealthy elites, determined to guard their fortunes and power.

Succinct and accessible. Gives me hope that there may be a path for system change to benefit the greater good.

Historia
In Measure What Matters, Doerr shares a broad range of first-person, behind-the-scenes case studies, with narrators including Bono and Bill Gates, to demonstrate the focus, agility, and explosive growth that the Objectives and Key Results system has spurred at so many great organizations. This book will help a new generation of leaders capture the same magic.

Male dominated view of the world
Revisado: 06-16-24
As I listened to this is struck me how very few women were involved in leadership of the companies he features. And he makes the sweeping assumption that these companies have improved our world because they have been “profitable .” This could be about how many of these companies have “wrecked” the world, instead of “rocked” the world. Very unimaginative thinking.
