Caught me by surprise!

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was. A lot of these slice of life farming books tend to be a little repetitive. This was not.

I think the performance really made it what it was though. The voices match the characters. songs were actually sung! emotional parts where people are crying. actually sounded like the narrators were crying. it was all just great and really made this book enjoyable.

I don't want to bash on another series, but as a counterpoint, the series casual farming isn't bad but very repetitive and kind of flat in the narration. this is the complete opposite of that

I really enjoyed the story over all. it was a good way to end such an enjoyable story. I found it satisfying with where all the characters ended up.

took me way too long to start this

I do not know why it took me so long to read this book. I don't even know why I read it this time. was just on a whim but I am so happy that I did

I'm a humongous fan of zombie movies, games, and books. I do not know why it took me so long to listen to this audiobook or read world war z. I have known about it in some form or fashion pretty much since it came out but just never listened or read it for some reason.

I regret that action. this is by far one of the best audiobooks I have heard in a very long time and by far my favorite zombie story pretty much ever.

The characters, world building, and pace of the story was superb. It changed the standard zombie survival story from one of a sole survivor or group to a worldwide endeavor and did it so well!

Funnily enough, in the land of covid, the story rang so true with so many elements of a pandemic that it's kind of scary...

This is a must read or you can listen to the audio. I have to say that the audio book was amazing. I hope the authors use the same voice actor for book 2.

Over all I enjoyed the book. good story, Interesting characters but the voice actor did not match the main character. The actor did the female voices perfectly but Ryker was just off...

overall I really enjoyed this book. the only thing that could have been better is if there was theme music at parts. I'll try and avoid spoilers but at one point they literally played a song that match the scene perfectly but they didn't play the song in the audiobook. huge missed opportunity

good narration with jarring moments

honestly this was a very fun audiobook for a very fun book. the narration was fun and appropriate and the various changes to the voices based on the situation really made this book pop. the only problem I have with the audiobook is that the charts that you commonly see in lit RPG books does not work very well in an audiobook format
