I'm a slow reader for numerous reasons. There's some dyslexia involved. Probably some ADHD. Mainly, I want to totally understand what I've read and, in the case of this book. I want to correctly perform the suggested breathing techniques properly and to follow up on the inquiries as I think honestly about a response. Some of the Sanskrit used, I don't relate to; but I've been surrounded by numerous Yogis much of my life and am aware of their enviable knowledge of practices and techniques and recognize THEY know what they mean... I will be reading (and listening) to this book numerous times, I'm certain, because the author delved into so many aspects of the benefits of the various techniques of breathing that I am excited to investigate further and practice. Some are very simple; others require more mindfulness. I also got excited with the anatomical and physiological lessons that provided explanations as to how and why it all relates to better health, happiness and universal connectivity. So grateful I was made aware of this knowledge. "Namaste, hun..."
