Historia
There is no better guide than Paul Krugman to basic economics, the ideas that animate much of our public policy. Likewise, there is no stronger foe of zombie economics, the misunderstandings that just won’t die. In Arguing with Zombies, Krugman tackles many of these misunderstandings, taking stock of where the United States has come from and where it’s headed in a series of concise, digestible chapters. Drawn mainly from his popular New York Times column, they cover a wide range of issues, organized thematically and framed in the context of a wider debate.

Too many words, not so many ideas
Revisado: 06-07-18
Overall the book is interesting but it can easily be cut 50-70% without loosing anything.
Just a few interesting ideas/concepts and examples and covered with obvious and unoriginal thoughts.

Historia
When a class war erupts inside a luxurious apartment block, modern elevators become violent battlegrounds, and cocktail parties degenerate into marauding attacks on "enemy" floors. In this visionary tale, human society slips into violent reverse as once-peaceful residents, driven by primal urges, re-create a world ruled by the laws of the jungle.

A weird strory
Revisado: 05-04-16
The story is pretty weird - the author does not bother to provide any explanation on why all the bizarre things are happening. Why would normal people, not being isolated from the world would behave like savages. The conflicts seems fake and unconvincing and the story line predictable and vapid.

The book is a remarkable and hilarious summary of a consulting lifestyle. Absolutely brilliant performance and a very insightful story. The best thing about this audiobook is how it is able to convey the atmosphere of a consulting! Loved the book.

Historia
What if charisma could be taught? For the first time, science and technology have taken charisma apart, figured it out and turned it into an applied science: In controlled laboratory experiments, researchers could raise or lower people's level of charisma as if they were turning a dial. What you'll find here is practical magic: unique knowledge, drawn from a variety of sciences, revealing what charisma really is and how it works. You'll get both the insights and the techniques you need to apply this knowledge. The world will become your lab, and every person you meet, a chance to experiment.

Horrible performance, mediocre story
Revisado: 02-04-16
Would you try another book from Olivia Fox Cabane and/or Lisa Cordileione?
Probably not. Very little new to me.
What did you like best about this story?
I think the structure is there. Ideas are valid, though not new.
Would you be willing to try another one of Lisa Cordileione’s performances?
Oh, no!
Was The Charisma Myth worth the listening time?
I would say not in this performance.
Any additional comments?

An interesting story with lots of illustrative experiments and stories. I liked thinking fast and slow more insightful though.
