Historia
Quinn keeps lists of everything - from the days she’s ugly cried, to “Things That I Would Never Admit Out Loud” and all the boys she’d like to kiss. Her lists keep her sane. By writing her fears on paper, she never has to face them in real life. That is, until her journal goes missing....

Cute read
Revisado: 09-16-23
Cute read. I didn’t read the summary before diving in so I had no idea I was about to read story about teenagers. But it was well written and as a 30yr old woman, it kept me giggling and entertained

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

5 out of 5 Stars Just Isn’t Enough
Revisado: 05-12-22
This memoir was by far one of the best I’ve ever read/listened to. Viola Davis captivates her audience from the very first chapter and keeps our attention throughout the entire book. Her narration of the book allows us to empathize and feel all of the emotions as she details childhood trauma, abuse, racism, poverty, and that’s just to name a few. It breaks my heart to know that Viola Davis grew up with the odds stacked so high against her, but it fills me with an abundance of joy to know that she has overcome every obstacle life has thrown at her and has evolved
into the black woman, actress that she has become. BRAVO!
