times shorter than last book mostly filled inane drivel powered through what felt like hours of listening text book because of numbers for stats and skills its like he got all notifications and skill description since the first book and decided to put them all together back to back inti this book in between mc wouldn't shut up about not having his armor and woe is me bullshit I tried to power through so much to get the good part but the whole poopy saga you started talking about towards the end was just to far so far its been about 5 chapters of story stretched out to 16 hours so disappointed not even my lord nick could save this one

good but really annoying at times

like when the mc gets hurt and all I hear is ow ow ow ow ow it hurts ow ow ow for what feels like forever is annoying or when characters are fearful and literally most of a 2 hour block is just to afraid to do this to afraid to that but the fear this fear that fear fear fear so annoying I get it I dont need to hear it constantly in a normal book it would still be annoying but at least I would be able to skim without missing anything major I hated how they kept teasing two main characters meeting but they never do summary makes it seem like a nice slice of life that has done action but ends up trying to be some game of thrones wanna be bullshit this among other thing was just frustrating enough for me to not give 5 stars. narrator was angel though dont stop andrea you do you

at first I hated it it was okay buy the constant retelling of something that just happened but from a different perspective with almost nothing to add was grating on my nerves but I powered through it because I really like the authors other books and it was worth it after around the second hour? the story really picks up and is worth it to get

most of the story was annoying but the ending was probably the most annoying , predictable , and makes you feel like your eyes will fall off from how much you'll roll your eyes. mc didn't even think of trying to build a device to remove the bad guys abilities maybebor even a device to jam them until the end when it was far too late and he didn't even have anything to take it off with what was gonna do take him home and build a device to remove it while the bad guy recovers ? why rush to try to capture the bad guy when mc's power work best when planning ahead could have built a tracking device or something to find bad guy instead of being bait? I didn't really understand the part about the sniffer thing but they traced it back to his work but mc didn't do anything to make it impossible to track him.so many plot holes I'm mad just thinking about it .I stayed listening to the whole thing since I wanted to like it and I hoped it got better but all I got was the most disappointing read ever and this is coming from someone with 120+ books in my library
