So I am not typically a fan of historical books unless there is fantasy involved and this book did not disappoint. I seriously devoured this in one sitting. I did listen to this on audible while following along with KU and the narrator Lesley Parkin did a fantastic job of differentiating between the characters and it was so easy to follow along. I am looking forward to reading the rest in this series.

Another great steamy read

KL Bone takes FF steamy reads to another level. In this short yet very steamy read we see the story of Suzette and Yelena. Two vampires one born and one turned yet perfect for each other. If you love FF reads this is definitely a book for you.

Loved the audio version so much

I seriously loved this story of Kiera and Aisling. KL Bone gives us witches, vampires, magic, time travel, betrayal, love, and deception all in one story. And the very talented Kylie Stewart narrates this book and she is just wonderful. What more could you ask for?

Childhood tale comes true

Wow! I really didn't know what to expect with this book. This take on Dracula is everything I didn't know I needed. It follows Christabel who grew up hearing stories of Vampir but never imagined them to be real. She travels to Transylvania where she learns of her grandfather tales are true and actually meets a vampir. And although this novella has a fast pace in true KL Bone fashion this books has passion and lust and captures you from the first line to the very last. Also I LOVED how she connected Bram Stoker into the final lines of this novella. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves vampires.

Tragic yet sweet

Immortal Skye takes place shortly after the events of Forever Chose and where Forever Chosen is dark and can be brutal to read Immortal Skye is not as dark. There are still moments you feel for the main character Julia and the hardships she goes through. But in true KL Bone fashion her damsel knows how to take care of herself. Not only that but the visual aspect of the story is written so beautifully you feel as if you could be there. KL Bone definitely has a way of writing that transports you into her stories and Kylie is a great narrator.

Great novella

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This book is about Hayden a tortured vampire who was turned centuries ago by a sadistic crazy vampire who loves to torture and SA his victims, who falls in love with a human woman. This story shows the struggle of wanting to be with your love while staying away to protect them for their own good. Highly recommend this book.

Heart wrenching and will pull at your feelings

What is there to say about this book without spoiling it for everyone? In the 6th instalment of KL Bone's Black Rose Guard series she tells the story of Princess Liza and her death. This book will put you right in your feels and make you hurt for Princess Liza and all she endured. Yet at the same time fall madly in love with her strength. You start the story of hating certain characters only to also fall in love with them knowing already what happened too them in the end but KL Bone does a great job of giving them their own story it doesn't take away from knowing the outcome. Can't wait to read Daughters of the Rose next.

Great fantasy book

Honestly this book grabbed my attention from the beginning and kept me hooked. And Sara has such a great voice to made listening to very easy. K.L Bone knows how to make your heart melt with the love and tear it apart with the heartbreak. Love the new take on immortals and the loyalty of knighthood. Can’t wait to read book two and be immersed into the world of the Black Rose some more.

KL Bone has done it again

Silver Rose is the 5th book in this series and is so shockingly good it has slowly become one of my favorites from the series. In this instalment KL Bone answers so many unanswered questions. We start this book with a gasp worthy chapter that makes you believe that you missed something from the previous 4 books. We see more of the harshness of Queen Clarissa as well as details into the death of Princess Liza. We see more of the love and length that Mara will go to to save Edward while making a deal with King Matthew...which I honestly hope Mara follows through with. Can't wait to read more in Princess of the Rose.
