You just had to put Donald Trump in your definition of narcissist?? How Sad. This whole book was amazing except for that one part and I would have said it deserves 10 stars. It is well written and very eye opening.

Stories of torture

These are more or less stories of torture throughout history and then the hauntings afterward. Some of these stories are very brutal and deal with children and that's something I just can't stomach. These aren't the type of ghost stories I was expecting at all. I really hated this and I didn't care for the narrator either. I wish I could return this book. I couldn't even get halfway through it.

These prayers are beautiful and well written. The narrator's accent (Irish?) just adds to the beauty of them. The print version would be nice to have just to read aloud and to choose which prayer you want in a certain time in your life.

Yes, if they like time travel stories.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Traveler's Secret?

Probably the part where the twins still existed when their mother was dead.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many, but one was when they realized that the 3 men weren't dead, and they could no longer charge the kids with murder.

Another was whenever the albino girl showed up, she'd talk in that eerie voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending. It left it open to where I'm anxious to see what happens in the next book!

Much better than I thought it would be, and the narrator was pretty good too.

What did you love best about The Art of Racing in the Rain?

The ending with the little boy.

What did you like best about this story?

When Enzo dreams that he testifies in court. So hilarious!

What does Christopher Evan Welch bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He performs all of the characters quite well and brings the story to life through them. He's a fantastic narrator.

If you could take any character from The Art of Racing in the Rain out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Enzo, because he's a dog and he's also a sweetheart.

This book touched my soul and very few have that affect on me. You will fall head over heels in love with Enzo. It's a beautiful and touching story that will leave you satisfied in the end.

This book was wonderful. I can honestly say that the narrator really made the characters in this book come to life. I was disappointed to see it end, but wow what a great adventure they had!

Great Medical Mystery

Would you consider the audio edition of First Do No Harm to be better than the print version?

Not necessarily, sometimes you just want to read it yourself and imagine your own voices. I will probably end up reading the print version too.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jack. Several reasons, but mainly because he was smarter than anyone else in my opinion.

What three words best describe Duane Berg’s voice?

I'm not sure. He wasn't bad, but I just had a hard time listening for really long periods.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it was too long.

For a medical mystery this is a really good book! The author is fantastic too!

I REALLY wanted to like this book. I really did. But I just found it to be predictable and it just seemed to drag on and on. Normally, I LOVE anything and everything about Angels and Heaven, but this one just didn't do it for me. I honestly couldn't wait for it to be over with, and I feel bad for saying that because the story line meant well.
