When we can help, we must.
Revisado: 01-02-25
The changes and direction progress and build at a steady pace. Craig did an excellent job creating the syfi illusions that made this story work so well. The individuals that were created are believable and fit the story like a glove. Current politics flow into this book as well, even being written before our current chaos. It's like Craig had a crystal ball, that works.

Historia
In Chile's Atacama Desert, a startling discovery threatens the very fabric of reality. Satellite imagery reveals an anomaly, thirty kilometers wide, radiating a power that appears to mutate everything in its path—and it's growing. Is this merely a Drax ploy designed to reassert their control over humanity, or is it a cosmic event beyond anyone's understanding? Soon, Dr. Shepard, Colonel Peters, and their elite team are dispatched to investigate the phenomenon. But nothing can prepare them for what awaits.

Very satisfying one the best this year
Revisado: 04-30-24
The key players in a movie for the mind, developed great images, Fifth Kind is food for the mind and soul. I have uncovered a few excellent writers after some vision loss and making it to 72, I am enjoying reading and listening to new books.
I try to add more writers to my diet. (My wife calls me a book eater) Now I have found J Presscott. James feeds the need for a great story!

New ways for New Worlds
Revisado: 10-12-23
Exciting end to a part of a journey facing the end of all one knows and finding more to live for. Hystad did a great job with his Characters throughout. The scenes as events unfold kept me reading and enjoying the story. Good investment of my time. For all the books read in my lifetime Hystad sits in my memory with some great writers if I listed them here it might make Nathan get a big head.
I would guess he knows where is headed.

Historia
I guess saving the world once wasn't enough… First it was the auroras, lighting up Europe every night. Then came the weird clouds over Africa. The tidal shifts... the failing crops... the crazy changes to animal migration... And I think all of this is just the start. I don't buy the official line that these are natural occurrences. Not anymore. Not since a whistleblower hid a coded message in my invitation for an upcoming commemoration ceremony on The Vita. Now I know the truth—that Earth is in serious danger from the side-effects of their reckless research.

The Anomaly Great add to series by Craig
Revisado: 08-01-23
The description the of story sites and the ending work well. I liked the bird part of the story and the ending. It is story we wished our leaders would be able to write caring About all of us, but they follow the worst side of men and Craig sees that in his story which makes it easy to cheer for the few who do step forward to help us all. Great job Mr Falconer!
