Historia
When six undercover FBI agents are brutally killed, former conman turned consultant, Patrick Daley, and Detective Elizabeth Shea are called in to assist the FBI. Their romantic relationship is still new, and keeping her trust is paramount, especially after they learn they'll be working with Elizabeth's ex, Agent James Finley--a man whose picture appears next to the word trustworthy in the dictionary. To keep her, Patrick needs to be an angel. But to solve this case, he must act the devil. Spying on people through the back door security feed of a five-star hotel might not be conducive to ...

Enjoy this whole series

This is the second time through this series for me and I love it! The first time I simply read it. I love listening while I work and do other things so this option is great for me. I'm used to going between Alexa's voice and regular audiobook so virtual voice isn't that different and I liked that some of the books were in a female and some in a male voice. Overall very good.
The only regret I have is that this book doesn't feel like the end of the series. When do Elizabeth and Patrick figure out who the man is who ordered Patrick's wife killed. It feels like there needs to be one more story to wrap it up. But it doesn't seem after this time that the author is going to come back to do that.
Love this series though!

Historia
Homecomings can be deadly. When retired Delta Force operative Rollo MacKenzie returns home to become chief of police in tiny MacKenzie Cove, he has lots of expectations...none of them good. What he doesn't expect is to find his first love targeted by a murderer willing to do anything to bury a twenty-year-old secret. After her husband's sudden death, Alyssa Archer scrimped and saved to purchase the abandoned farmhouse on the prettiest hill in McKenzie Cove, but someone wants her off the land. If she won’t leave, she’ll die. Rollo MacKenzie might have stolen her heart years ago, but this...

Good mystery kept me guessing
Revisado: 07-18-24
This was my first virtual voice that matched the book. I tried it with a different author and they'd put the wrong book in so I was glad this one was right. I listen to Kindle books with Alexa so virtual voice wasn't that much different. The story had a few slow parts but not for long and the author did a good job at masking who the villain is and hiding the truth of the plot until the end. Great story with the right amount of faith embedded in it.

Historia
Hannah’s ex has some nerve. First he breaks up with her in a text, and now he thinks he can take soccer away from her? Think again. As the captain of their intramural team, her ex might be able to kick her off his team, but he can’t stop her from playing for their rivals. The fact that her new team captain is her ex’s arch nemesis? Even better. Playing for River’s team on the other side of town is the perfect payback. When her ex sees them together and gets the wrong idea…well, what’s the harm in playing along?

love this book and audiobook
Revisado: 09-25-20
I absolutely love this story. I read the book first but then found the audiobook and had to get it.
My only disappointment with the audiobook is in the production I believe they missed chapter 12. It replays chapter 10 in its place, so you miss River and Hannah's first "date" at the lake, after their first kiss in her driveway. It's a pivotal point, so definitely disappointing to miss it, and hear the other chapter repeated out of order. Hopefully, that gets looked at and fixed.
Otherwise, I would say it's a great book and the narrator does a great job at keeping all the characters separate and interesting.

enticing story, overwhelming Love.

I love this story. I have read it so many times but love listening to it almost more. There are new truths of God's love for each of us that I gleam every time I read this book. The narration wasn't what I expected when I first started but was actually very well done.

loved the book, interesting narration.

I have been a huge Hunger Games fan for years. Great story! I'm confused why an older woman would be chosen to voice a book about a 15/16 year old. Took a while to get into with this discord going on. But still great story.
