Historia
Barely a teenager, Kaylin Neya is a thief, a fugitive, and an attempted assassin. She also has a smart mouth, sharp wits, and mysterious markings on her skin. All of which make her perfect bait for a child prostitution sting in the city of Elantra - if she survives her first meeting with the Hawks!

An immensely enjoyable listening experience

What did you love best about Cast in Moonlight?
The style was superb, the characters gripping and memorable.
Which scene was your favorite?
Hard to say since every part seems to stand out as exceptional, but if pressed I would have to say the beginning.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Definitely laugh. You felt as if you were in the action with the characters taking it all in right along side them.
Any additional comments?
Right from the beginning you are sucked in and don't want to stop. Sagara wrote a fantastic story and Hvam did an exceptional job lending her voice to characters that felt truly alive.

Historia
Karigan G’ladheon, running away from school, is traveling through a deep forest when a galloping horse pounds up to her, its rider impaled by two black-shafted arrows. With his dying breath, he tells her he is a Green Rider, one of the magical messengers of the King. Before he dies, he makes Karigan swear to deliver the message he’s carrying, and gives her his green coat, with the symbolic brooch of his office.

Overall not bad, but fell short of it's potential
Revisado: 05-23-12
If you could sum up Green Rider in three words, what would they be?
Frustrating. mildly entertaining.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
That's it?
What does Ellen Archer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
You are saved from trying to figure out how to pronounce certain names and words properly plus you get to enjoy some nice accents that appear to help differentiate characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No.
Any additional comments?
The action sequences were particularly aggravating. They imbued you with an extreme sense of frustration at the main character, while simultaneously making you want to claw your eyes out because they moved so painfully slow.
