I didn't think I would love this as much as I did.Cassandra Campbell out-did herself...just wow. The way Tate called Kya's name will stay with me for a long time. It's a unique story about the south and the natural beauty of the marsh and it's creatures. It's about learning to be alone, abandoned, yet standing in your strength and following your dreams and heart anyway. It hit home personally, but this will be a classic and I hope the screenplay that I'm sure is being written now-does it justice.

Some of these "Lying liars, pretty other woman's houses, hearts and windows* psych thrillers get predictable and ridiculous, but these two authors struck out again with an awesome read and (thank god) More interesting title. Big ups.. ♥️

It's beautiful so far, 2/3rd through. Sad and funny and shocking - just like life..and if you believe in reincarnation as I do, the story is understandable and poignant. Unless it devolves into some kind of Eckhart Tolle bizarro world, I don't understand the lukewarm reviews. I can't stop listening. Narrator is amazing

I was really getting into the audiobook thanks to Ray Porter, when I caught the phrase 'Benghazi' and had a sinking feeling. Sure enough, the corrupt, evil Secretary of Defence in her black pantsuit with the money grubbing philandering husband along with the worthless liberal democrat admiral are the bad guys.
Really Jack Carr? I'm sure your editor tried to tell you that insisting on pushing right wing talking points without any type of character discussion or plot relevance will pigeonhole you as an author and cut your sales in half. Either this book is an audition for Fox where you can be another SEAL complaining about the left while the embodiment of corruption, criminality, immorality, treason, racism and misogyny spouts all the same BS from the Oval office as he deconstructs this country, or you couldn't help injecting your political views all over what is actually a decent thriller.
Listen to the people around you next time. You have the chops to be a compelling author-you don't need or want a gimmick..

I loved this book..made me want to visit the American south again. The time travel piece was sophisticated, and overall, I had the same gratified feeling as watching a movie that sweeps you away.. A little like 11/22/63 by Stephen King, another all time fave, no pun intended.. Ha. Incredible narration as well
