It didn't take very long to get into this book and once I did I had a hard time stopping. I would sit in my pickup just listening to what was going to happen next. The narrators voice was good but I had a hard time distinguishing some of the secondary characters sometimes. Other than that it was a really good listen and I'm already looking for the next in the series.

The general premise was good but this was an awful long book to have almost absolutely nothing happen. We already know he is telling a story so all of the intense scenes where you think things might go wrong are already answered. Yes he makes it alive because he is telling the story. Plus there were too many gives. He tells too much about whats going to happen before he gets to it in the story. It was a good listen but not very exciting.

I had this book done in less than two days. I was held captive by the the readers character voices and it seemed like I was really there watching everything unfold. Excellent work..
