WOW!!! Just WOW!!

Talk about a dark read. This book was that and then some. It was phenomenally written. I couldn't put it down. I think this was one of my favorites by JA Huss. After I finished the ebook, I grabbed a copy of the audio, and it was 10x better. The narrators nailed it!

I don't know if that's Jud's way of making Salem feel better, or if AL Jackson, was trying to tell us she had us while we were reading this book. LOL!

This was another beautifully written story. Yes, I fell in love with Jud and Salem, but Juni and Gage stole my heart in this one, their charisma, friendship. This book had all the feels.

The narrators brought this story to life, Andi nailed little Juni's voice. Once I started I couldn't shut it off.

TOP BOOK OF 2021

There are not enough stars........

I've been trying to review this book for weeks, not knowing what to say or how to do this book justice. I have read and loved all of Parker's Mafia books, but this is nothing like her Mafia books. It is full of loss, heartache, pain, self-loathing, addiction, depression, soul searching, life inspiring, trust, growth, forgiveness, hope, peace, and love.

This book came at a time in my life when I really needed it. I was in a dark place. I had dark thoughts. I was ready to call it quits again. This book really spoke to me, made me think about my life, and had me reaching out for help yet again.

I have read this book a few times and listened to the audio, they both are amazing. This book was my TOP read of 2021. i

Heartbreaking

I hate to say this but this was my least favorite of Kent's work. Calli came across as a strong girl in the other books, but in this book, she comes across as weak, and Reed is the biggest jerk. I wanted to reach through the pages and smack the guy.

Stefanie Kay did a great job with the narration.

I give this book 3.5 stars.

I was so excited about this book. I wished I liked it better. I enjoyed the storyline, Reed did reclaim himself, and who doesn't love a broody, dirty talking man. But some of it was a little over the top. Callie held strong or as much as she could with what she had surrounding her. This story felt like it was a little dragged out at times. I'm hoping the next book is better. I will say the narrators did bring the story to life and did make it better the second time around.

Beautifully written.

She did it again....

I don't know how she can bring religion and sex together and make it look so beautiful. I have been anticipating Aiden and Elijah's story for a while now and Sierra Simone did not disappoint.

"I love you like that. I love you like this. I love you like everything."

This is a book you need to savor like a fine wine and it will leave you feeling all the emotions for days.

Brilliant!

Five stars are not enough for this world of Gods and Monsters. K. C. Cross, aka JA Huss, nailed it again. I'm not a fan of PNR reads, but again Huss is writing it, and look at that cover, how could you not be intrigued.

This world was magical, fun, and fascinating. I didn't want it to end. I got so lost in it that after I finished, I had to grab the audiobook and get lost in that too because, Duh! Jason Clarke and Hathaway Lee, made this world come to life. They made you feel as if you were experiencing the words they were reading. I love it when an author and narrator can do that. Bring a book so alive!! I can't wait for book two!

A feel good laugh out loud read.

I needed this book so much.......

This book had me laughing out loud throughout a good portion of the book. Audrey was so corky and awkward. I wanted to become her best friend. And I'm not sure if I loved her relationship with Miller or Warren more. This book had so many side characters that brought this story to life. It was a quick read, but it will be worth your time. My only complaint is I wish we could have gotten Warren's POV.

Erin Mallon brought this book to life. They couldn't have picked a better narrator for this book.

All the feels!

It is finally here! I never thought we would get this book. It has been a long time coming, and I am so glad, Molly McAdams finally wrote the missing Ryan brothers story. This book is filled with so many emotions and so much angst. Once I started to listen, I couldn't shut it off. The narrators nailed it.
