During his years as a public official, Mitchell Weiss was told that government can't do new things or solve tough challenges - it's too big and slow and bureaucratic. Sadly, this is what so many of us have come to believe. But in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, he and his city hall colleagues raced to support survivors in new, innovative ways. Mitchell Weiss had a virtual talk with our class which led me to reading his book. I liked the structure of the chapters. The end of each chapter had a great summary and review. I was able to gain lots of knowledge about government organizations and efforts that aim to take the government from exploitation to exploration , probability to possibility. I most definitely recommend to those interested in government innovation.
