Wisconsin. The twists and turn are always
surprising and keep you in suspense.
The Narrator really gives emotional life to
each character.

This book really gives you a glimpse of the life
of people on the Flats in the Dakota's in 1883
This was a well written book and the narration
really brought the emotion of each character
to life. Thanks for all the hard work

Such a difficult problem of our society.
Greed and money using people like animals.
What courage it takes to fight against this problem.
Makes you sad that politics gets money for this

Shawn McGuire is a masterful writer. Her research of the details of the criminal justice cases and the evidence needed
to make and arrest are amazing. Love her way of weaving interaction of the characters and when they leave Whispering
Pines they are on a more positive road to improve their lives. I had to listen to this one twice. There is so much detail
that I missed on the first time. I will really miss the characters when this series comes to and end, Thanks for all the
surprises on the villagers and their interactions
I love the way the narrator puts life into the characters and the energy you feel in so many of the scenes. She makes the
characters come to life as though you really know them

I was on the edge of my seat the whole book
Can't believe how intense you create the story line
I really appreciate the narration and the voice of each
character. Really makes you feel like your there in the room
Can I get a plane ride with them for Hawaii?
