Wonderful endcap to a saga

I’ve now read Tolen’s story as far as it’s been written and while I find some of the devices used throughout the series repetitive, we wouldn’t have much tension if the lead character had it all figured out the first go round. The world building, the magic, the elements, and bonds all work together in symphony to create an imaginative and unique experience for the reader. What could have been called a HP rip off originally, ended up nothing of the sort. I would love to read the future adventures Tolen gets into if it were ever to be written.

Surprising

I didn’t think I would like this continuation of the dune history but stuck with it and I’m glad I did. This chronicle of a long life lived for one goal is intricate and it’s easy to envision the world of dune at this era in its history.

A must read for any fantasy fan

This introduction into the word that has been created by Robin Hobb is so immersive that you can’t help but believe every detail. I’ve read all of her books no less than 2 times and most, like this one, I’m on my 4-5th read. The performance of the story only amplifies it making it further come to life as you get to know the intimate details of fitz chivalry and the Farseeer world.

A book about podcasting should be a high quality podcast

I free like the story these authors have to share is a good one but the production leaves something to be desired. Things like filler words, background noises, um’s, ah’s, and all the junk I pull out of podcasts to reduce distractions should have never lived to see the light of day in what should be a blue print for how we did it and how you can too. Shut it off after 20 minutes because I couldn’t do it any longer.

Super eye opening content

Loved the writing style and the eye opening content. The presentation from the author made it all the more identifiable and real. The only reason I mark down the production was the audio quality was not the quality I normally expect from my audible purchase. The text was clear but between the interruptions of the voice with the twang in his voice and the lackluster EQ on the authors recording I had to make the conscious decision to ignore it. Small things that add up. Once again the content is totally worth it and I’m nitpicking. READ THIS BOOK! It’s information has generational impact when applied to our daily lives.

Amazing

I can’t wait for the next book. I wish I’d had the time to sit down and read this straight through from start to finish. I would have held my attention. Inventive, unique, and merging so many aspects of both Sci-fi and fantasy into one your left with awe and wonder that they can coexist so peaceably. As stated before I cannot wait for the next installment and look forward to all that the author has of the world of Peridot.

This was my second time reading this book after having listened to the most recent addition to the series and it hold up so well. Awesome scifi, action, space adventure. What more could you want!!

Interesting conclusion to story

Well it times this section of the overall story was hard to follow I enjoyed being able to see the conclusion of this grouping of books. I found that because of the multiple instances of each character and the jumping around and time that it was hard to stayconsistent with the rest of the story or at least know where I was in the causal time as they would say in the book. Overall I like the book and I don't think that it was a bad read it all. Unless you're really good at keeping up with complicated story lines I wouldn't read the book.
