I don't know that I was ever a fan, but her life is far more dramatic, entertaining and stimulating than any TV show or movie she has been in. I am a fan now, forever.
I hate what she has been through and just like the title implies, you are sitting with a friend, a good friend you haven't seen for awhile. I can't wait to buy the next book. Reader, please don't miss this selection.

You know the Book of Ruth and the story of Esther. Make room in your heart for The Book of Shonda! This book changed my life. I am not renewing my contract at work.I am in some intense negotiations within my marriage. Nothing and no one was working ...just me. For Shonda, she needed to learn how to say yes. Easily I recognized, my problem was not yes. I didn't know how to say,"No"! I'd agreed to a 7:15am meeting the day I bought the book, but I don't go on the clock until 7:40. WTF, right? This book helped me see that I will never get that inner hole filled giving away my very soul. This is going to be my year of," NO!" In fact, I am not saying No, I can't. I am now saying, " No, I don't want to!" I have never felt so free in my life. Husband: Meet me at ABC and let's eat with XYZ
New Me: I don't want to, no.
OMG! I am whole. I have not felt this good in decades. I will keep this title and I know I will listen over and over. I bought ONE ticket to Paris. I leave in two weeks. Why alone? Because I love me. I don't have to apologize for it either. Could I, should I take someone with me? Yes, I could, but I am saying No. I don't want to freely, without apology for the next year. It's just been two days and people are already commenting that there is something different and that I look happy. They're right. I finally got my shit together....you can too. Read this damned book so you will figure out what's holding you back, your bullshit or other people's. I don't want to say more. I want to plan my trip. Bye!
