Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I like Kleypass but erroneously thought her Wallflowers series would be boring...so I always avoided it. This book (book 1) was on sale so I thought I'd try it.
Oh, how I loved Annabelle!!! She is one of my top 5 favorite heroines of all time! Proud, brave and beautiful. She goes through so much but she never hides or feels sorry for herself. And Simon is pretty wonderful too!

Couldn't get into it...

What would have made Jacob better?
The romance was sweet at first but towards the end it became nauseating. Jacob was a little TOO into Isabella...after about the 124th time he crooned "my flower" and stroked her hair I hit the delete button. Although admittedly I'm not very "gushy" so if you like that sort of romance give it a try.
What aspect of Xe Sands’s performance would you have changed?
It was ok.
Any additional comments?
The back story of the demon culture was interesting. Maybe I'll give the next book in the series a try.

Worth a listen.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The hero is handsome, the heroine beautiful. But it's not boring...Catherine keeps the tension going beautifully.
Have you listened to any of Anne Flosnik’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
The male voices are weird but you get used to it.
