Historia
For many, the Christian life looks like this: You call out to God. Your problems get worse. You suffer and wait. Nothing changes. Author John S. Dickerson knows the feeling. A rare health condition drove him to examine the Bible's claim that "when I am weak, then I am strong." As a journalist, Dickerson has seen severe human suffering. As a pastor, he has comforted others through unimaginable grief. He wrote I Am Strong to give understanding, hope, and strength to the hurting.

One of the most popular and beloved introductions to the concept of faith ever written, Mere Christianity has sold millions of copies worldwide. This audiobook brings together C. S. Lewis' legendary radio broadcasts during the war years, in which he set out simply to "explain and defend the belief that has been common to nearly all Christians at all times."

Helps to understand
Revisado: 10-07-20
This book is very rich, actually every chapter is. It includes a lot of analogy and helping you understand things that you may of always have just avoided. The statement comes very true in this book: "Making the believer think".
So many things that have been told that you just have to believe, are now making sense. Very good book. I would recommend this book to anyone, Christian or not.

Historia
Over the past hundred years, scholars have attacked the historical truth of the Gospels and argued that they were originally anonymous and filled with contradictions. In The Case for Jesus, Brant Pitre taps in to the wells of Christian scripture, history, and tradition to ask and answer a number of different questions, including: If we don't know who wrote the Gospels, how can we trust them? How are the four Gospels different from other Gospels, such as the lost Gospel of "Q" and the Gospel of Thomas?

Historia
Can we know if Jesus actually lived? Have Jesus' followers been a force for good or evil in history? A respected journalist set out to find the answers - not from opinion but from artifacts. The evidence led him to an unexpected conclusion: Jesus really existed and launched the greatest movement for social good in human history. A first-of-its-kind audiobook for a new generation, Jesus Skeptic takes nothing for granted as it explores whether Jesus actually lived and how his story has changed our world.

Impact of Christians in history
Revisado: 07-18-20
I really loved this book. After listening to it, I was kind of upset and thought that this should be part of history class in public schools.
Because, the most praised people and rights that we have, all come from christianity. It's very odd that that fact is left out.
But knowing what the author researched will make you proud to be a Christian and also will help you to stand your ground as a Christian.
Do this is a very simple to follow and listen to book. Even I, as a simple mechanic can follow and understand.
