Historia
I’ve been called the Devil, deranged, and a savage. I lived by a code created by rebel souls. We were sinners and thieves that made no apologies for taking whatever the f--k we wanted. Saving a girl in the woods was never part of my plans, but when I saw the crazy in her eyes, I knew it was a match made in hell. Now, secrets are piling up, the bodies are rotting, and time is running out to finish what I started. Forewarning, our story is more than a little f--ked up.

Love the series
Revisado: 12-28-18
I adore Natalie Bennett's books! Read some originally through Kindle and was delighted to see she was on audible as well. Unfortunately, the only thing that kept me listening through the poor narration and bad pronounciation was my love for her stories.

Historia
Four years ago, Judith and her best friend disappeared from their small town of Roswell Station. Two years ago, only Judith returned, permanently mutilated, reviled and ignored by those who were once her friends and family. Unable to speak, Judith lives like a ghost in her own home, silently pouring out her thoughts to the boy who's owned her heart as long as she can remember - even if he doesn't know it - her childhood friend, Lucas.

Historia
Something terrifying that must not be seen. One glimpse and a person is driven to deadly violence. No one knows what it is or where it came from.Five years after it began, a handful of scattered survivors remain, including Malorie and her two young children. Living in an abandoned house near the river, Malorie has long dreamed of fleeing to a place where her family might be safe. But the journey ahead will be terrifying: 20 miles downriver in a rowboat blindfolded with nothing to rely on but Malorie's wits and the children's trained ears. One wrong choice and they will die. And something is following them....

Great story! A little bland on the narration.
Revisado: 05-13-16
Hard to listen to when I'm home alone! The story is so suspenseful I seriously kept looking over my shoulder to see what was lurking in the dark behind me. It was wonderfully written and kept me on the edge of my seat.
At times I wish the narrator had a bit more urgency to her reading because good Lord, Mallory was paddling for her life from some unknown monster yet Cassandra Campbell read on in a monotonous drone as if listing the ingredients to a cereal bar.
