Learn the necessary truth and teach it to your children - Don't rely on the educational system to teach them. Paired with teaching about healthy nutrition, this should help many ails.
One thing that bothered me about this audio recording was the random upbeat cheesy music that would play in the background for about 30 seconds. This was like 3 or 4 times it played throughout the book. It was distracting for me.

A survey of the quirks and quandaries of the English language, focusing on our strange and wonderful grammar. Why do we say "I am reading a catalog" instead of "I read a catalog"? Why do we say "do" at all? Is the way we speak a reflection of our cultural values? Delving into these provocative topics and more, Our Magnificent Bastard Tongue distills hundreds of years of fascinating lore into one lively history.

This book is quite interesting, although it would be better with a print copy in order to see the words and sounds that the narrator is pronouncing.

If only we would all try and apply this, not only in our jobs and careers, but in our everyday lives. I do wonder how much different the outcomes would be... Mr. Schulze's attitude is fantastic and uplifting.

Historia
In 1914, the war which was to have been wrapped up by Christmas had - in reality - only just begun, as all sides entrenched themselves deeper into the Great War. Christmas Eve, 1914 follows one company of British officers as they rotate forward to spend their Christmas on the front lines, a mere 80 yards from the German guns. Upper- and working-class men and boys are thrown together into one trench and struggle to survive.

Im not normally one for reading time travel storylines, but this book was set before me a number of times while searching through titles for a good read. Im glad I used my credit here because this story was very good. The voices and overall performance were spectacular. I will surely be reading the next book. #suspenseful #pastmeetspresent #timetravel #witty #scotland #tagsgiving #sweepstakes

Their blissful reunion is shattered when she touches a boulder in one of the ancient stone ruins and is instantly transported to a Scotland torn by war and raiding border clans—in 1743. Historia
"Wuthering Heights" is Emily Brontë's only novel. It was first published in 1847 under the pseudonym Ellis Bell, and a posthumous second edition was edited by her sister Charlotte. The name of the novel comes from the Yorkshire manor on the moors on which the story centers (as an adjective, "wuthering" is a Yorkshire word referring to turbulent weather). The narrative tells the tale of the all-encompassing and passionate, yet thwarted, love between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw.

Pretty good
Revisado: 08-06-18
I liked the book. I pictured it being grey and overcast the entire time, that was the effect this story had on my imagination I guess, which was interesting because I watch the newest film rendition and it was portrayed the same way...
I gave 3 stars because I like it, but somehow something held me from loving it. Perhaps the fact that Heathcliff turned into a monster and Cathy was kind of a b... but I suppose that's realistic given the circumstances.

Wonderful characters and narration
Revisado: 08-06-18
One of my favorite aspects of stories is the character development. This book really went into detail with the individual lives of each character, like multiple separate stories all tied together by their relationships with one another. My favorite character was Konstantin. Such a kind and likeable person- I was rooting for him the whole time.
The narration was on point with excellent capturing of the emotions and distinct voices so that I never got lost with who is who.
This book is categorized as a romance, and it is-but I would still definitely recommend this to anyone not interested in romances because it really does involve a lot more than infatuation.
If you decide to watch after reading, I'd recommend the 2000 TV mini series with Steven Dillane because he does so well as Karenin.

Moments after Lisbeth is born, she’s taken from her mother and handed over to an enslaved wet nurse, Mattie, a young mother separated from her own infant son in order to care for her tiny charge. Thus begins an intense relationship that will shape both of their lives for decades to come. Fantastic Performance
Revisado: 07-04-18
Bennett really brings forth each character with distinct voices. She uses the right amount of emotion and emphasis all in the right moments. I dont think I couldve enjoyed this story as much had she not been the narrator.
The book itself is good, having a few surprises around corners and unexpected ending. It would make a good movie.
