Michelle Visage, Need I Say More?
Revisado: 08-20-16
Michelle Visage, enough said, I absolutely love her! The first time I had heard of her was when I watched my first episode of RuPual's Drag Race. She is the outspoken tell you how it is, not tee no shade no pink lemonade, judge. Her book is no different.
I absolutely loved that Michelle Visage's book was narrated by her. It covers the rules to bring out your inner diva which is already inside of you. Visage sprinkles the book with person experiences and how she was learned the rules she is teaching the reader. While listening to the book it was like she was right there in the room with me, and I loved it.
The book was on the shorter side, but I loved every single moment of it. I hope that in the future Michelle Visage writes more books because I just can't get enough of her!

Interesting For Sure

Not the ending I was expecting. The beginning really got me hooked into the storyline. I used to not anything that had to deal with circuses and clowns, so this was a setting for me. The narrator, Joan DuKore, did a great job bringing the characters to life. Listening to the book, I was not prepared for the ending at all! There was also a strange part about having sex with a banana, not sure what that was all about.
I don't know if I will be continuing with the series, but it was an interesting listen.

A True Mystery Novel!

On to the third book in the Finny's Nose series. With each book, it seems like the characters are getting better and better, I am able to relate to them more. The narrator, Maddison Thyme, is a great constant throughout the series. She really brings the characters to life offering a fresh perspective during each scene.
As with the previous two book in the series, there were religious tones sprinkled through the story. Coming to the end of the story, there were a lot of unanswered questions, I hope the written is planning to add to the series. There was a lot of different things going on throughout the story, I really enjoyed the plot of reenacting the wreck of Triton.
Overall Treasure Under Finny's Nose was a good story, with a strong narrator.

A great addition to the series!

This was another fast listen, written by Dana Mentink. Like the previous book in the series, Trouble Up Finny's Nose, there were religious tones to the book. We learn more about the main character Ruth, throughout the story. Strange things seem to happen around Ruth and town of Finny's Nose.
The opening scene got my attention. There seems to be a lot of fog in Finny's Nose apparently it lasts until noon every day. There is always something going on in town. The other residents are just as interesting as Ruth, they are so diverse.
Overall this was a good addition to the series. There is another book in the series, it will be interesting to see how that one plays out. If you enjoy mysteries and old characters then this book is for you.

A story for the ages!
Revisado: 04-25-16
This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast.
This book was a very fast listen. This is not the typical type of book that I would read. That being said, this was a great listen. The narrator really brought life to the story, it was like I was there watching everything happen. Bill Lord just has the best voice for this type of book.
This is a true adventure book, I wanted to know what was going to happen to Buck. From the first minutes, I got attached to him. There were so many different elements and settings in the story that I was almost always on the edge of my seat. There was always something new going on and never really a dull moment.
The narrator brought a great voice to the story and made it an enjoyable listen. This book is great for a younger audience as well as an older on. I can see this being a story for the ages. I really enjoyed it.

Two shocking discoveries - her dead husband's secret novel and a body in Finny's town square fountain - nearly push Ruth to the edge of her sanity. The final kicker comes when her hairdresser goes on vacation to Fiji, leaving Ruth to look like Dickens' Miss Havisham. A crazy kaleidoscope of characters such as the uptight gallery owner, Napoleon Prinn; half-baked Dimple Dent, writer of fortune-cookie wisdom; Alva Hernandez, octogenarian newspaper boy; and Monk, the amorous town caterer, add to the chaos in the shadow of Finny's nose until Ruth finds herself in the ultimate do-or-die situation.

Interesting Storyline.
Revisado: 04-18-16
This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast.
The opening scene of finding a body in the fountain of the town square quickly caught my attention. This book was a rather interesting mystery book as it stuck in religion along with many other elements. Finny’s Nose is a rather interesting town I am not really a fan of the name. The main character, Ruth, seems to have a lot going on in her life when we meet her. But she also seemed to be getting into everyone else’s business.
This book was not really the type of book that I would normally read. The narrator was alright, but at times talked a little too slow, thankfully audible has a speed feature. Maddison Thyme overall was a good narrator and was easy to follow. Her multiple voices brought the story to life.
There are two other books in the series, it will be interesting to see where the story goes from here.

Super interesting!
Revisado: 09-19-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I loved how there was so many twists and turns in the plot. There was also a lot fo suspense, it kept me on the edge of my seat while listening to it.
What about Andrea Emmes’s performance did you like?
Eimme's performance was perfectly paced and easy to understand. She added a real depth to the characters that I would not have gotten if I had read the physical copy of the book instead.
Any additional comments?
I was given a copy of this audiobook for review from the author.
