Excellent mystery novel

What did you love best about A Great Reckoning?
Louise Penny is good as usual. We know the truth about Amelia only at the last sentence of the novel. It is in the spirit of Agatha Christie.
What did you like best about this story?
I understand the title (The Great Reckoning) only when understanding Amelia secret. For Gamache (he is french canadien) it is Le Grand Pardon. Ah oui!

I did no read the book
What other book might you compare Wilson to and why?
Truman life. He is a fighter.
What about Jeremy Bobb’s performance did you like?
He keeps the rythm.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I do not see a film with this book. It is too intellectual (this is not a critic but a part of Wilson life). Theodore Roosevelt life for example could make a good film.
Any additional comments?
The reading is good and the character is well define. However some evangelical parts could be cut. We already understand he is from a religious family.

I loved to hear this story. I did not have the possibility to read it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Professor and the Madman?
What would happen of this man and contribution if he was treated with medication we know today?

I don't know, I did not read the book.

Same title. I think this could be a very good film insisting on his 'paranoia'.

It it is good story and a 'revelation' that the most famous dictionary has many contribution from this very discipline 'madman'..
