good content, annoying voice

Many bookmarks were used in the reading of this book. Tosha is great about delivering one liners you can pin up on your wall to remember the core teachings of this text. I do so love when an author reads their own book, but I wish they would get some coaching or simply pass it to a pro if they deal with raspy voice, stutter or (in this case) lisp. Somehow it got better in the second half, but the beginning was tough to stick with. Glad I did.

Incredibly relatable even if you can't relate

there's a reason he's so popular in the radio. he comes from a raw, honest place most of us give too many fucks to be able to pull off. it's refreshing. his stories are wild in a "better you than me" way. super easy to fly through this one.

Some unique ideas and paradigm shifts. I definitely have taken some suggestions into use. This took me longer to get through because the author is a bit annoying. sort of like that friend who likes to casually remind you hes smarter than you. I like the style of Mike Mikalowicz (Profit First) - more humble and relatable.

Not the approach I was expecting, but great

I expected a few more hard core techniques for intense negotiation, but was surprised to learn many soft skills to disarm my counterparts in a negotiation. I expected more aggressive moves and was pleasantly surprised that I can lean on my intuitive and empathic nature to build rapport and ultimately get what I want in a negotiation.

picked this up at the perfect time

I just turned down an opportunity to grow very quickly because I wanted to be in a better financial position first. I decided to become laser focused in becoming more profitable. This book is easy to understand, simple to implement, and great fun with the author's personality. I couldn't stop listening, and I bought the paper version to go over some of the graphs and visual elements because I want to implement it as closely to perfection as possible. feeling very optimistic about the next few years of my life and my business's life!

I usually listen to three or four audio books at a time, but I could not turn away from this book. It delves in deep 2 the topics that you think it will cover and then it covers such a wide array of other topics that are wondrously woven together. Amanda voice is surprisingly soothing for such a badass chick. she makes you want to be her friend and who makes you wish you were more like her. there were so many takeaways from this book

I enjoyed hearing his story of how he discovered and developed his gifts. I also loved learning about different symbols and what they mean to him in readings. there were some sections that I could have done without. I have my own beliefs about different types of intuitives and schools of thought, so his analysis on that wasn't very useful to me. I'm definitely interested to see how his skills and opinions evolve as he ages.
