An emotionally breathtaking read that captures heartbreak, despair, loss, healing, love and second chances in an utter raw manner!!! Unbreak My Heart is the epitome of a second chance romance that will touch and speak to you. It will break your heart but slowly Lauren Blakely puts the pieces back together.

In the audiobook, the narrators did a wonderful job showcasing Andrew in a raw manner. Readers could feel the raw emotions being evoked as Andrew tries to piece back together his life. Blakely is usually known for her romantic and light stories, but Unbreak My Heart showcases her prowess as a writer with her ability to tug all the right heartstrings. Definitely, this is one unforgettable romance done right as it focuses on life, healing, hope, and second chances. A must read for 2018!!

Lauren Blakely does it again as she has readers like myself swooning hard in her latest release, Part Time Lover. British accent. Check. Sexy storyline. Check. Charismatic characters. Check. So yes, you can say I am big fan of this book. It had everything I wanted in a light sweet, romantic and playful storyline. With sexual attraction brimming between the two characters, readers like myself are emotionally invested as Christian and Elise morphed their friendship into something more than a marriage of convenience. So if you are looking for a book and audiobook that will pull heartstrings and have you swooning like crazy then Part Time Lover is the book for you this summer.

It’s been awhile since I listened to an audiobook, and I will say it does take awhile to get into it since I am a huge fan of reading. But with Lauren Blakely’s Wanderlust, I will just say the narrators did a fabulous job in portraying the characters. How could anyone not fall in love with these characters and of course the city of love, Paris. Did I mention a British for a hero? Yup, sexy accent for the win.

Overall, this book was an absolute gem. It was sweet, heartfelt, swoony, and sexy. Lauren Blakely makes you want to pack your bags and travel to Paris. I know for sure, I want to go back to Paris and retrace the steps of Joy and Griffin.

If you are a fan of best friends to lovers romance and quirky small town charm then I highly recommend you to read Love So Hot by Marquita Valentine. If you haven't known by now, I adore and love this author and her writing. She has a magically way of making you fall in love with her lovable cast of characters and of course leave readers like myself with hearts fluttering for those Lawson brothers. And in Love So Hot, Ms. Valentine turned up the heat level as two best friends, Sydney McKnight and Brody Lawson slowly danced around each other as they try to fight their sexual and emotional attraction to one another. What started off as a teaching lesson on seduction soon finds Brody and Sydney falling deep for one another. So what happens when the lessons on seduction gets blurred with the matters of the heart? Can Sydney tell Brody that she has and always been in love with him?

Love So Hot was sweet, charming, and sexy!!! I love the friendship of Brody and Sydney and of course the meddling Cherry McCoy. Although Brody and Sydney needed a good slap to their heads and encouragement to finally admit the truth about their feelings, I did enjoy their playful lessons on seduction. I must say Brody definitely turned up the heat in this explosive love of passion and friendship. So if you are looking for a love story that is hot then I suggest you read Love So Hot by Marquita Valentine. Ms. Valentine will definitely have you ringin' the alarms because Brody and Sydney are fiery hot!!!

Before I begin my review on Restless Waters, I just wanted to point out that Left Drowning was the book that solidified my love for Jessica Park. It was the first book that I had read of hers which made me researched her other books and hence introduced me to the Flat Out Love Series. And when I look back on my list of favorite books, Left Drowning is definitely on there. This book stole my heart and left a big memorable impression on how broken characters can find healing, forgiveness, and love. The ending of Left Drowning I loved. I was satisfied and it left a smile on my face. So when I found out there was a continuation of the story that mostly centered on Sabin Shepherd, I was equally excited and nervous of where Jessica Park would take her readers.

Restless Waters picks off where it last left off in Left Drowning so this book can't be read as a standalone. My review for this book will be quite different because I don't feel it is necessary to rehash what the book is about. But what I will tell you is that this book is much more of an emotional connection of Sabin/ Blythe/ Chris dynamic. These three will strip readers bare as Ms. Park douses readers with an onslaught of raw emotions. She takes her readers on a journey where a magnitude of emotions are running rampant . While this book is told in Blythe's POV, readers will feel the emotional connection of Blythe and Sabin. As broken characters, they have this strong connection to one another that may have been blurred because of their intense friendship but don't fret this is not a love triangle. Restless Water is a story that redefines the bonds of Chris, Blythe and Sabin. It is a story that completes the whole healing process and that begins with honesty.

While Left Drowning will still be my favorite of the two books, I have to admit that Chris stole my heart in Restless Waters. Ms. Park further emphasized what a beautiful man he is inside and out. I loved that he didn't taint or see malice in the friendship of Blythe and Sabin. As much as I loved the ending of Left Drowning, it makes me happy to know that Sabin is in a place in his life where he is content and can heal from his broken past. So thank you Ms. Park for bringing back these characters. So if you are looking for a story where the author paints a literary masterpiece of beauty, closure, love, healing, and second chances then I highly recommend you to read Left Drowning and Restless Waters.

What did you like best about Game for Marriage? What did you like least?

Any additional comments?

Game for Marriage was a lighthearted predictable read but it was entertaining to get lost in a sweet romance about Jared, a football quarterback trying to clean up his public image. So when he meets Sheridan, an artist, who is hired to be his fake wife to clean his image, she agrees to be his wife for a year so she can be paid a huge sum of money to take care of her mother and keep her art studio afloat.

This book was predictable since it was inevitable for these two to fall madly deeply in love with each other. Game for Marriage was a sweet, light, sexy read. So if you are in the mood for a quick sports romance read then this book is for you.

What made the experience of listening to Bound the most enjoyable?

Love that this book was captivating, emotional, heartbreaking and simply beautiful. This book was beautifully well written that you get emotionally invested with these characters. My heart ached for them whenever memories and flashbacks would remind them of the past and the what if’s of the future. Bound was more than a romance book, it was a story of coping, moving on and second chances. Second chances not only in love but at LIFE. Ryke and Kate’s story was about survival and two individuals who were able to claw out of the darkness and find the light and peace they both deserved.

Who was your favorite character and why?

For me, it would happen to be both the hero and the heroine of the books. I think that Ryke and Kate's characters goes hand in hand. They are emotionally and physically invested in each other. They say love heals and their love truly showcases that beautifully.

What does Chris Ruen and Kirsten Leigh bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think they allow the readers (listeners) to FEEL all the emotions. The emotions comes alive as they evoke the words of the author.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Bound by loss, bound by grief, and bound by love.

Any additional comments?

Bound by Brenda Rothert can be summed up with these words: Loss, Grief, Sadness, Heartache, Depression, Coping, Moving On, Second Chances, Romance, Laughter, Friendship, Happiness, Closure, and Life. Bound is a story that united two individuals who were bound together with the same pain: LOSS of a loved one. When is it okay to finally move on? Is it right to move on? Why is our sadness and loss sometimes associated with guilt? Do second chances really exists? This is a story that reminds us that there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there are healthy ways to cope with the pain that, in time, can renew you and permit you to move on.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend this audiobook to a friend because this story is full of passion, steam, romance, emotions, and raw vulnerability. The story line is so unique and unlike any new adult romance books I have read/listened. The performance of Erin Mallon as Lily was so emotional and you can feel the connection that she has with the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

What I love about this story is the tale of two broken lost people facing their addictions and demons. And not only they are dealing with the addictions but they are in love. This story is about survival, friendship, love, addictions, soul mates, best friends, and letting go. The beauty of the story is Lily and Lo and how it went from friendship to soul mates and to lovers. This book packed so much emotions that you could FEEL everything from heartache, guilt, despair, anger, lust, temptation, hurt, pain, sadness, lost, and love. You know a book is worthy to read/listen is when you can be emotionally invested in a story and feel for the characters. Lo and Lily's story will touch your hearts!

Which character – as performed by Erin Mallon – was your favorite?

Erin Mallon did an amazing job on the performance of Lily Calloway!!! She hands down nailed it. You could feel the raw emotional and heartbreaking moment Erin evoked playing Lily. Not only did she do an amazing job as Lily, but she played the role of Lo perfectly. To be able to play characters that are so raw, broken and vulnerable was an amazing fete that she did.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I think the tag line that the Authors made is THE BEST and the MOST PERFECT tag line ever: "She’s addicted to sex. He’s addicted to booze…the only way out is rock bottom."

I think their tag line speaks alone and would make anyone want to read, listen and watch a film of this book. But if I were to make a tag line, I would say it would go something like this "Your Love is My Addiction."

Any additional comments?

I have also read the book and here is my review of the book:

"She’s addicted to sex. He’s addicted to booze…the only way out is rock bottom."

When I first read the blurb of this book, I knew this would be intense and different from the usual story-lines that I normally read. The authors, Krista & Becca Ritchie, did a fantastic job in writing and addressing a sensitive matter, addiction and the people who enable the addiction.

Addicted to You, focuses on two rich and prominent childhood friends, Lily Calloway and Loren Hale. From the outsider's perspective, they would be seen as two childhood friends in a loving and stable relationship while attending college at the University of Pennsylvania. Lily and Loren seem to have it all: a perfect relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, money, family and friends. What friends and family don't know, is that Lily and Loren have been keeping secrets of their addiction.

Lily Calloway, comes from a loving family with three sisters: Poppy, Rose and Daisy. She has parents who love and adore her. Sisters, who are fiercely protective and loving especially her older and closest sister, Rose. What they don't know is that Lily has an addiction to SEX.. Lily is not just obsessed but seriously addicted to sex. Her daily routines must consist of sex, watching porn, daydreaming of sexual fantasy and masturbation. Lily cannot function without achieving her sexual high/desires. Her addiction has affected her schoolwork and time with her family.

Loren Hale, son of Jonathan Hale of Hale Corporation, is rich, handsome, and attends a prestigious University. Loren, also known as Lo, seems to have it have all but is addicted to ALCOHOL.. His addiction to alcohol is so severe that his morning consist of the hard stuff and ends with him either passed out or completely blacked out. He's consistently drinking whiskey, bourbon, beer or any hard alcohol that he can get his hands on. His addiction is affecting his lack of schoolwork, attendance, and personality. Lo, stems his addiction from the pressures of his demanding father and the abandonment of his mother.

Being childhood friends, Lo and Lily knows each others addiction. For three years, they have been deceiving their family that were boyfriend and girlfriend. They have been covering up for one another so they can continue their addictions. Soon, Lo and Lily decides that they no longer want to be in a fake relationship but a "real one" together and that they can help each other out with their addictions. Lo will help satisfy Lily's sexual addiction and Lo will try to cut back on drinking. As it turns out, their addiction only intensifies and they soon find themselves enabling one another. They become addicted to not only sex and alcohol but to each other. Lily craves the sexual highs that Lo can provide for her. He has become her crutch and vice-versa. Both are well aware of their addictions and feel guilty about it but they just can't seem to stop doing it.

Lo and Lily loves each other so much that they are afraid to lose one another. Their addiction has reach a point where it has gotten unhealthy and destructive and soon their family and friends have to step in to intervene.

This book ends with Lo and Lily going their separate ways trying to get healthy and beat their addiction. It ends with them promising to wait for each other. Lo will be entering rehab and Lily starting all over at new school with her sister, Rose and getting therapy. Their journey to getting healthy continues in the next book of the series. Will they succeed or fail?
